Customers say: Quick response

"Prompt response to request, on time for scheduled service, said he would return on Monday to finish up and even though our streets were not plowed (and he knew it), he returned at the time he said he would and completed the job. Courteous as well. Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service."

"Mr. Fama had not remembered or written down the appointment time and so came to my house before I got home. Once that was straightened out, he worked very hard to remove my old stubborn faucet and installed my new one. He made sure that it was installed correctly and there were no leaks."

"There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount as the deal was for one system and we have a two system house. They found such extensive mold that we ended up doing a mold remediation. So that got kind of folded into the total project which was a little bit more than the special but that was fine. They found a big problem and fixed it. I thought they were fine. I would note also that couple of weeks after, we weren't sure, my wife was still feeling like she was picking up a little bit of irritation from mold or something in the air. So they came back and without charge gave us another sort of an updated treatment; they sprayed some more stuff in there. So they were very responsive and we were happy about that. The treatment itself was mostly a spray. They actually removed some material that was really pretty thoroughly molded and washed it and some they had to replace. It couldn't be washed. I think they have sort of a vacuum kind of thing that they clean out the ducts with. So they did that as well. That might have helped with the mold also but the mold treatment specifically is some kind of a spray that they put in there. This was the first time we used this company. The main guy was very competent. He explained things clearly. I felt he was easy to work with!"

"Heavy drain cleaning machines were taken down my basement including a little camera. They carefully vacuumed out all the water on the the floor and inserted more than 200ft of drain cleaning cable into the main drain, and in less than 45minutes i was all cleared. Same company  steam-cleaned my carpet in march. I will use them again and again."

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Chester, MD

Sewer line replacement costs range from $50 to $250 per linear foot. Your replacement costs rise or fall based on material quality, installation complexity, and the specialized equipment crews need for excavation. Deeper lines cost more to access, and choosing budget-friendly PVC piping rather than premium copper also shifts the final price.

A sewer sleeve repairs cracked or damaged sections of a sewer pipe without the need for excavation. In this process, technicians insert a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner, saturated with epoxy, to seal defects and restore the pipe’s integrity. This approach protects your yard, trims repair time, and adds years to your sewer system’s life—all while delivering reliable results.

Newer homes use durable PVC and ABS piping that offer smooth interiors and effective clog prevention at an affordable cost. Older homes use materials such as copper, Orangeburg, clay, cast iron, or lead, which require a licensed plumber’s inspection to confirm safety and performance. This clear distinction impacts maintenance and overall system reliability.

Red flags include persistent clogs, recurring sewage backups, and unexplained spikes in utility bills. Strong sulfur odors, bubbling drains, and visible sewage in the yard serve as unmistakable warning signs. These symptoms demand immediate professional inspection and repair to prevent further property damage and health hazards, ensuring the system operates safely.

All sewer line projects require permits because strict sanitary and biohazard regulations mandate regulatory approval. Homeowners must secure permits, incurring a specific permit fee of $200 in addition to contractor costs. A licensed professional or local building department manages the permitting process, ensuring the work complies with all legal requirements before the project begins.

A clogged sewer line is not covered by standard homeowner’s insurance policies because these policies exclude damage from regular wear, tear, and neglect. In cases of accidental damage—such as when tree roots block the line—certain policies provide coverage. Homeowners must review their policy details or consult with their insurance provider to confirm the coverage terms.
