"I called a few friends to get a referral for a garage door issue. Two friends said to call Cox. My garage door had been “warped” and finally it got bent out of shape to where I need a new door. The phone person said a service charge to come out would be $140. I told the two guys who came out I wanted to order a new system/door. They offered to fix the door where it would open and close (no longer automatic) until the new door could arrive. A brace (one piece of sheet metal) was placed across the old door so it would open and close. 30 mins and the brace resulted in $340 bill which I paid debit card.. afterwards I called back to the service writer and complained about the price for a temporary fix. He did not seem to be the one to handle a customer complaint regarding the price so I ask that the owner call me. The owner never called me which tells me he doesn’t care about his customers or is too whimpy to listen to a concern. Knowing I was ordering a new door and installation from Cox I expected a better price for a temporary repair in less than 30 minutes. I will not recommend Cox Door Company Inc to anyone. If the owner refuses to handle a problem for a customer I can find someone else to finish the job which I did and was treated more than fair….. price and service!"

"This company is not worthy of your business. They put up my opener about two years ago, used my old wires and sensors from my old unit. Which now that I think about it they probably kept the new ones that came in my new opener box. But let's fast forward I called them out here recently because my door hasn't been going down they came out I explained what the door was doing. They only tighten the bolts it worked for a week or two. Called them again letting them know the problem still exists she told me I would be charged another fee just to come look at it again. I of course called different company one that believed me checked the sensors told me that the sensors and the wiring has been there for a long time replaced both, oiled my door, tracks, wheels and tighten chain. DON'T DO BUSINESS with DC"
