I had searched for many months for a contractor willing to tackle the job. This included coordinating with the owner above me who also hired Easter to do his balcony. From the beginning Steve gave very quick responses and kept me informed. There were many road blocks to work around and multiple people and organizations to please for both him and the crew . Despite many distractions including a multitude of annoying squirrels, my hovering over their work and many people passing by, the crew stayed focused on getting the work done and getting it done right. They worked as if they were doing it for friends, family or working on their own home. From start to finish they were professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The crew was very considerate of the neighbor below me and made every effort to minimize the mess and inconvenience to him. (He made a point of telling me how much he appreciated it.) Other compliments have been received. That includes the neighbor who yelled across the easement from his perfect patio on how nice it looked, and one of my relatives who now wants to redo their deck. "Matt arrived on time and was efficient at replacing floor tiles. Do you think customer service is gone, well so did we until Matt Hemingway came to replace three broken tiles. He finished in 90 minutes and that included going back to hardware store for a different color grout because he didn't like the way it looked. When done you could not tell the floor had been fixed. Just basic carpentry and finish work, they did an excellent job and I would recommend them. We got good quality material on everything, and the pricing was very competitive. I'd rate 6/5 if I could. They run a tight ship, and I didn't have to chase them about cleaning up or following up with us."
