"Brandon Scott did the best possible under difficult circumstances with the problematic GE 30 Under the Cabinet Hood-JVX5300SJSS. This was a ductless installation. I was impressed with his strength, stamina, tenacity, and cleverness. He needed to do careful and complex electrical work on two occasions. And he needed to put in a very long screw on a nearly 45 degree angle to attach the left side of the hood onto a thin part of the cabinet above it. I hope it holds over time."

I was able to find a replacement and Kim had the new refrigerator picked-up, delivered and installed on a Saturday. "The other company (Tobys only called me after I called them). D and J (Don) called me in a timely fashion. He charged a flat rate while Tobys charged a service fee + $$/hr. Don was extremely professional and polite - and showed up exactly on time as scheduled! UPDATE 07/08/2021: Don installed a microwave for me in 2017 and I called him again for another microwave install (appliances just dont last anymore!!). Don was out the next day to install a mic over my oven....arrived on time, the job took less than 1/2 hour, cleaned up, took the old mic out to my garage. EXCELLENT service! Don does many services in the home -- I will call him again for more projects. Great team of workers! Professional and friendly."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
