"The experienced was great! From the salesman, to the admin. staff, to the production manager, to the installers was all professional. Was very impressed with the installers. They briefed us each day as to what they would be working on that day and outbriefed us at the end of each day as to what was actually accomplished. We had several days of rain during the installation but the installers would call and let us know when they expected to resume installation. "Landscaping really was not the proper category. Essentially, I had a ravine that split my property in two, that served as a path for storm drain water to move towards the property detention area. The ravine was up to 7 feet deep making it impossible to mow and maintain. I wanted to extend the storm drain corrugated pipe 120 feet and cover it with dirt than plant grass. This project included relocating the head wall of the storm drain to meet county codes. Josiah, his brother Jeren and a third contracted person moved 15 truckloads of dirt while re-grading the property to ensure proper surface draining. I was extremely pleased at the care and follow-through they exhibited. Josiah is honest, polite and dedicated to pleasing his customers. Both brothers were great in answering my questions regarding other concerns I had separate from this project. My intentions is to hire Josiah for other projects as needed."

"We freaked out when we first saw the water coming into our basement and called the first companies we could think of (Bigger companies that you hear on the radio). The first one could not get out to even look and give a quote for 2 weeks. The second was 3 weeks. After a couple of days of calming down, we called a company that looked good, would fix the leak, and not make a major production of trying to repair the foundation. After 2 tries, they would not call back. Based on the ratings on Angie's List, we called A Best Dry Waterproofing. It looked like they would do about the same as the one that would not call back. Well holy cow!! Not only did he call back, but within 1 (one !!) week he had come out, given a quote, and had it fixed. Everything was done from outside, no major foundation work, no cutting troughs inside the basement. If the big names cannot even get out to give a quote for 2 or 3 weeks, how long would it take to actually fix it? Every time it rains, water would run in and waiting weeks or months was just aggravating and stressful. I would definitely use them again, but hopefully won't need to. If you don't want to watch your basement flood every time it rains while waiting for someone that is too busy to even give a quote, do yourself a favor and at least let them provide a quote."

"From the first project they undertook for us to the last, the Gormans have always been professional, reliable, trustworthy, and incredible craftsmen.  They always clean up the project site at the end of each day and never left trash, tools or materials where the children could get to them.  When they remodeled our kitchen, they cleaned it each afternoon before they left, so I could cook for our family.  They even swept the floor and wiped down the cabinets - a huge plus for a mom of three children, all under the age of 4.  I love our kitchen now- before the Gormans redid it, the kitchen was dark and mismatched. The cabinets were impossible to use and the pantry was too narrow to hold an reasonable amount of food.  Now, after the remodel, our kitchen is bright, with beautiful tile and granite.  The back cabinet was made by Kevin Gorman and is indeed a piece of art.  The pantry was doubled in size and has pull out shelves.  I love being in there whereas before I wanted to take a sledge hammer to it.

The same is true of our living room and office.  Gorman's remodeling brightened everything up with full panel windows - which they installed themselves along with recessed lighting and new paint.  They took down walls and opened entry ways to make for a brighter and bigger feel  They laid new hardwood flooring which they matched to our existing hardwood, removing carpet that had been christened too many times by the cats  Again, they cleaned up every afternoon.  I never had to worry about a child stepping on a nail or otherwise hurting themselves.

They also redid the children's bathroom - taking up the hardwood floor and laying tile on the walls, floor and shower.  They repainted, added a full panel window, and new vanity.  Like with the kitchen, they had a great contact from which to order granite. They children love their new bathroom, as do I .

Additionally, they pulled up and put on a new deck.  They reinforced where necessary for the jacuzzi.  They made the gates on the deck which are better than any manufactured that I have seen. 

Most recently, they came by to fix a window pane that I had broken.  They came within a day or two of my call.  Took care of the job, as they always do, and the window looks great. 

Overall, Gorman's Remodeling consists of talented, professional, reliable and trustworthy craftsmen.  Their prices are also incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend them."

Trim board was installed to finish windows to match interior trim. All trim was caulked and painted to also match interior.
