"I am so pleased with the help that we received from American Carpet Distributors! We had a burst pipe in our basement that got our carpet and padding wet. We had to throw out the padding but managed to save the carpet. Larry responded so quickly and was so easy to work with. He stopped by the house the same day I called him and took measurements to replace the carpet padding. A couple days later he sent out a very friendly and hardworking crew to replace the padding and lay our old carpet on top. It looks and feels brand new. I am so pleased that he was so promp to help. I feel like he was so fair in his pricing and that he wasn't pushy to sell me things I didn't need. The other carpet companies I called would only do the job if I bought new carpet (which I didn't need) or had a high minimum job payment. Larry saw that we really needed our basement back to working order and quickly helped us get that back. I am very satisfied and grateful!"

"Yes, truly is dust free but the experience of working with them is even better than how clean they are. Everything working with Jerry went exactly as one should be able to expect from this class of professional service provider. However, he was the only one out of several top Angie's List rated companies that not only showed up on time to provide a quote but explained how he would handle the job from start to finish. The other guys really didn't want to tear out and haul away the carpet or even provide a selection of trim and flooring from which to choose. They gave a list of several stores to order the materials from with the amount of materials required. They also were going to cap the stairs instead of removing the treads if they found they weren't already oak underneath. However Jerry's quote was almost the same price but he would handle everything. Ultimately it turned out to be cheaper as once the carpet was removed it was discovered the stairs were oak and in good enough condition to easily refinish. Everything went swimmingly and our floors are absolutely stunning. High points: - I didn't have to lift a finger. (one would think that's normal since I'm the customer and not the flooring company, but apparently the other companies felt that wasn't the case.) - Arrived on time to provide quote. Quote itemized with exact cost. Explained that only if the subfloor turned out to be problematic could the cost change and we would be made aware. - Provided complete catalog to select everything from. Helped with selection by showing examples of designs and sizes in similar layouts. - Arrived on the start date when he said they would and finished the day he said they would too. - Clean, clean, clean. Exceptionally clean - Floors are absolutely gorgeous and meticulously installed. - Custom banister and newell work looks beautiful and rock solid. - Honest, called to let me know I saved money when he pulled the carpet up on the stairs to discover they were in good shape. The quote had included replacement. - Hauled all the carpet and trash away. Would absolutely use again and plan to for the remaining rooms."

"The team from Modern Quality Flooring excelled at every step of the process of redoing nearly every floor in our new house. We redid our entire first floor of hardwood and our entire basement with new vinyl lux flooring. We discovered some bumps in the road - upon removing some rugs, some very large plywood patches showed up. The basement floor, once the carpet came up proved to be less than level and the stairs needed to be patched up. Everything was done so well that it's hard to imagine it's the same house. The flooring work they did was transformational. Despite the complicated and numerous hardwood patches in several rooms, you can't tell they're not the original floors. The workmanship is flawless. We felt completely comfortable from the initial meeting with them. They were excellent at communicating things before, during and upon completion of the work. If you have floors that need attention, they should be your first (and really) only call. Cannot recommend highly enough."

I could not be happier with the process and end result. The floor looks amazing now after they replaced and refinished several planks. "I had the carpeting replaced in one of the bedrooms. Expo sent me sample photos of carpets by email so I could choose a carpet over the phone. Dina, the salesperson, was very helpful. The installer was terrific. He got there right on time and took out the old carpeting and hauled it away and then installed the new carpet in two hours.It looks beautiful. I'm really pleased with the service I got. I have used Expo several times before and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"First of all, we are happy with the finished product of our master bathroom and walk-in closet. We are NOT happy with the owner of this business and his handling of our project. Jeff took time to design our space over several meetings. He promised that he would be available to choose tile/granite/light fixtures/plumbing fixtures whenever we needed him. Timeline was discussed with a 6 week from contract start and a project time of 3 weeks. Permit submission was done by myself with plans drawn by Jeff. We failed the permit process with 14 items that were not addressed due to insufficient drawings. Additional time/effort was required by Jeff and us to meet the requirements to meet code, which pushed our project back several weeks. We also paid more for the project due to Jeff needing to insure his workers for our village (a cost he should have known upfront). With new drawings, we re-submitted and were approved for work to begin. I can't say enough about the FANTASTIC workers that Jeff has on his team. They were courteous and did excellent work and even suggested design modifications that made sense. One of our first tasks was to pick out a granite surface. Jeff gave us the name of a granite place and that he'd meet us there. He NEVER showed. We picked granite on our own that day. We ordered tile - on our own. We chose lighting, plumbing, fixtures, and paint colors - on our own. The next time and ONLY time we saw Jeff for the duration of the project was when he delivered the vanity and asked for money (same visit). The total project ended up taking over three months to complete. Due to various project modifications/additions, we had no idea what our final invoice would be. We waited and waited for some type of final figure. 8 months after the project was completed we finally received a remaining balance invoice for over $11,000. We were shocked to receive this invoice so far after the project was completed. Jeff explained that COVID and not having an office manager were reasons behind us not getting an invoice before then and that we fell between the cracks. While we don't argue the price, we did not appreciate the length of time it took him to get the job done, nor the amount of time before we received a final invoice. When we offered to pay $2,000 each month for the next six months we were sent a very threatening email offering us three options for payment in full NOW. Suddenly this money is due NOW when he has carried this receivable for 8 months already? We will NEVER recommend Artistic Kitchen Concepts (Jeff) to anyone in the future. His involvement in the project started out well, but dropped off to the point where we never saw him, had no further input from him, and didn't receive an invoice until 8 months after the project was completed."
