Most of the fence was done very well but one of the posts shifted while the concrete was drying so the top has over a 1” tilt to it. When I brought it up, I was told there was nothing they could do about it which means they didn’t want to reset a new post for a cosmetic issue but now the first thing I see every day is a listing post.

For the gate, he only had 2 latches, I opted for the more expense one which ended up being a latch that looked like it should be on a barn door and not a residential gate. So I had to replace it but I take partial responsibility as I approved it without seeing it.

The fence was put along a garden bed and was told that wouldn’t be a problem but a number of the plants where flatted and trampled on and had to be pulled out.

Completing the job in one day with careful attention to detail working with less than ideal conditions, weather, unlevel ground on the fence row. "Company was responsive to my phone calls.   Gave me a detailed written estimate.  I had already been to their website and had learned quite a bit about fencing.  I had received a total of five quotes and this company was the only one to point out that a permit was needed in my city.  Other contractors, when asked about permits, had lied and said they weren't necessary.  That was a black mark against them.



The crew came out as scheduled on a Thursday morning and demolished the existing fence and dug post holes for the new fence.  They installed a temporary plastic fence and left.   A truck delivered materials around 11 am and the crew came back that afternoon and set the posts in cement.  They were back at 7:30 on Friday and began to assemble the fence.  It was made of Western Red Cedar with cedar rails.  It was finished with a cedar top cap and a pressure treated rotboard along the bottom.



After a week, I noticed that one of the boards had split vertically, and they came out and replaced the board. The fence looks good and passed it's permit inspection!

"Jared came to our house to look at our property and prepare the estimate.  We had a total of 4 estimates.  He was the only owner that promised to be there during the construction of the fence and not just drop off a crew.  Since we contacted him during the late rainy spring, it took several weeks  to get on his schedule but that was to be expected.   It was worth the wait. The fence was built onsite which was helpful with the slope on our property.  It is a very sturdy 6 ft cedar fence with sturdy gates.  It was done in 2-3 days with all mess cleaned up.  Jared is a professional and his workers are very nice.  I would highly recommend Jared and Prime Fencing.
