"Andy picked up right away when I called to ask if he could take a look at my roof which had developed a tiny leak the night before. He said he could come out the very same day. When he arrived a few hours later he told me the roof was in good shape and should last another 7 years or so (the roof is 20 years old). The leak was being caused by a pipe boot which had deteriorated. He told me he'd get back to me later in the day with an estimate to replace the boots as well as to clean moss which had grown in a few areas. He ended up calling back a few hours later to say he could come out and replace the boots in an hour (he could schedule the roof cleaning within the next few weeks). So by the end of the day on the day I called he made the repair. He carefully explained what had to be done and how to do it properly and thought to use extra shingles I had stored in the basement. He was extremely nice, courteous, prompt and professional. He provided top notch service. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I already used once Secure Roofing to repair roof on a shed and naturally decided to give my business to Mike Tenehey Mike and his team were very responsive from the time of my first inquiry right though until job completion. The price was reasonable, and we scheduled work in a few weeks. Due to bad weather the work was postponed 2 times, but we were not in rush and flexible. The roofing team carefully placed tarp around house to protect flowers and bushes. The work of replacing 1000 sq feet of roof was done very professionally in about 6 hours, all debris and trash were removed afterwords. Mike also recommended a specialist and scheduled gutters replacement, so couple weeks later we also got new gutters. I am very pleased with this team and recommend Secure Roofing for other projects."

Dave and his crew removed the old shingles, placed a coating on the bare roof, and put down new shingles. They cleaned up multiple times each day. They used a remote cart with an extendable slide. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Sam, the owner, although busy with many other jobs, came within a couple of hours of my calling his office when he heard that water was coming into the house from the roof. He performed all the work himself. Sam explained everything he was going to do, was very pleasant and professional. Will have him return in Spring to do a heat wire installation to prevent ice damming again. I highly recommend Sam and his company.

"From beginning to end, it was a great experience -- surprisingly great, in fact.  Our garage was getting old, and we were trying to figure out what do do about it.  We invited Mr. Harris out to our house and -- surprise # 1 -- he seemed far more interested in helping us figure out what actually needed to be done than in talking us into hiring him.  We agreed that the roof needed replacing, but -- surprise # 2 -- he didn't want a materials deposit until he could give us a firm start date.  He estimated that he could get to it in about four weeks but -- surprise # 3 -- actually got to it much earlier than that.  He gave us a start date and -- surprise # 4 -- the crew showed up and did the work on the promised day.  And the roof looks just terrific -- which, after surprises 1-4 -- really wasn't a surprise at all!  We've already hired him for a number of other projects and can't say enough good about his work & his service!!!!!!"
