"When I originally spoke with James, one of his technicians was on the way out to our house. We had two outlets that had caught on fire from a portable heater, a 220-volt outlet that needed to be switched to a 120 (to support the heater), and we needed our GFIC outlet tested. James came out himself and took care of everything within an hour and a half. He even tested our smoke detectors to make sure they were working properly and gave advice on ways we could save money replacing electrical outlets. He charged us less than the original estimate. Mr. John Sherlock arrived at the time and date specified to give us an estimate.  He returned the following day with his assistant and performed the job in one day.  He installed 26 copper lightning rods on the flat roof of our 7,000 square foot home.  These rods were connected with 500 feet of heavy duty copper cable and were grounded at three points with ground rods going down through the drainpipes into the ground. All parts of the system were securely attached to the roof.  He did a neat job and cleaned up all excess materials.  We were very pleased with the job him did.  Since installation of the lightning rod system we have had no trouble with lightning striking the house or causing power outages or surges.
