He explained that while they offer excellent warranty I am better off with an older model if I don't have any problems. "Zach and his apprentice from Randy's Electric were 100% successful in restoring power to the condo unit I manage. The condo is in a building that has some of the wiring redone and some quite old. It appears there was some condensation above the ceiling that caused a short in half the circuits in the condo. The condo owner had another electrical company take a look at it two weeks before. Two hours and $480 dollars later they didn't do anything. Today, the guys from Randy's Electric where able to come out and resolve the issue in about 2+ hours. The moral of the story is there are some electricians that get the job done and others that just send you a bill. Randy's Electric is the former. I appreciate them coming close to the estimate. It's an old building, so I know how things can go sideways quickly. My only regret is we couldn't book an appointment with them first. I've learned it is better to wait on a high quality electrician rather than go with the one that is available. PS: Stay away from Early Bird Electric if you have a job that has lots of unknowns. They will just take your money and say that can't do it."

He had to come up with a way to have the water heater raised as it sits on a drain pad and the flat surface of the heater bottom would have closed off the drain. The old heater has legs. He used PVC pipe pieces to elevate this new heater. He replaced the gas shutoff valve and the water shutoff valve. The old ones were over 36 years old."
