"The work looks great and is high quality. My problem is they weren't as professional as I expected. I left a message for an estimate and the voicemail greeting (which also included about rental properties they managed?) said someone would be in touch or the estimate would be done in the next few days. More than a week went by with no contact. It required a second call to get the estimate done in the expected time frame. Then I approved the estimate and was told they would get me on the schedule. Another week or two went by with no contact. I decided to call one day and get an update and was told they would be out that very day to do the work. Just all worked a little haphazardly on the contact and follow-up."

"The pressure/temperature valve was releasing water thoughout day. PPC checked it out and offered me the choice of replacing just the valve or the water heater. Taking into account the age of the heater, I chose to replace heater (16+ years old). I had received a quote for water heater and labor when I made the service appointment so I knew the cost for this up front. Ball valve leading to water heater was leaking so replaced that also. Everything went well."

"Micah came and looked at the issue(s) I would like the original concrete contractor to address.  He showed me what needed fixed and explained how it could be done.  I asked him for an estimate because I do not think the original contractor will fix the problems.  He gave me a very reasonable estimate.  He also noted that the landscape work his company did last year wasn't up to par.  I was contributing extreme temperatures [near 100 in summer and minus 30s in the winter] to the landscaping issues.  He is going to bring in additional soil and re-seed the lawn without my asking [or any additional charge]!!!! 
On another note - I did tell him that he is not listed as "concrete work" on Angie's List.  "Hard scape"?? is the same, but not recognizable to customers!  He is going to change that, so everyone can enjoy the exceptional service Dean's Landscaping has to offer!

"As is common with Angie's List special deals, the service was extremely over subscribed and the process was not executed until the winter had passed, the 2014 spring rains subsided and the lawn was finally aerated.  I saw no seeding or fertilization on the lawn or the driveway. It was not worth the time and effort to call again and have the issue resolved.  I will probably use them again, but will take time off from work to closely supervise the actions and insure I receive everything I am paying for.
