"We bought our house in 2012 in Montgomery County, MD. The roof was past its design life when we bought the place, and although there were no signs of leaks, we decided to put a new roof on the house in 2016 - better to get it done before problems arise than after. Central was great. I forgot to move my car out of the driveway the morning they were scheduled to start work but they managed to make things work anyway. My handyman happened to stop by while they were working and told me it looked like they knew what they were doing, which was comforting. The real proof, though, is my roof has been on the house for 4 years, including the wettest year on record here in the DC area, with no signs of leaks anywhere in the house. This may not seem impressive - roofs aren't supposed to leak. However, both my sister and parents have had new roofs put on their houses in the intervening years - they live several States away so could not use Central Exteriors. Both had leak issues after having the new roofs put on and had to have the roofer come back out to fix things - in my sister's case it took several return visits and some major work to make things right. Central Exteriors were price competitive with other roofing companies I consulted with, and gave me a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship, which nobody else offered. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Very pleased."

"We are extremely happy with the whole experience! Our house is a 1950s rambler (about 1600 sq ft) with the original wood planks over the main area and plywood sheathing over an extension. The previous roof shingles were about 25 years old. Tom Keehn came out to the house to evaluate the job and was very helpful in explaining what they would do step by step. We were very impressed with all of the details that he provided and with the literature that he left with us. The other companies that we contacted did not go into as much detail. The price was extremely competitive and after we signed the contract, the job was scheduled very soon after. The men who did the work are very professional, courteous, and highly skilled! After they removed the old shingles, they found some problem areas and were able to solve every problem - including replacing wood in some awkward areas, and a very rusty metal chimney stack. They conscientiously checked every single board on the roof to make sure it was still sound and they only replaced those areas that were rotten. Then they made sure that all of the original boards were securely attached to the rafters - adding extra nails if necessary. Then several layers were placed over the wood - my neighbor who watched the entire process from a higher vantage point was incredibly impressed with how well the roof was sealed before the new shingles were put on. The men cleaned up throughout the process and by the end of the job - everything was gorgeous - the roof is beautiful, the new flashing is better than it ever was, etc. This is an incredible company! We highly, highly recommend them!"

"We are very impressed from the hard work, thoroughness and professionalism of the ARHT Home Solution team. They replaced the roofs of our house and garage, changed the gutters and even painted the ceiling in one room and bathroom to cover the spots from roof leakages. They began the work at 7 am and continued until 9 pm, at the end they cleaned all debris in our yard and even our neighbors yards. "Joe our service person responded to our request and came out to inspect our roof early the next morning. He explaned what our current problems are and also what we can expect in the future. He did not try to sell us on a new roof. He only suggested the repairs to the areas where we are currently getting a leak and to other areas that are about to start leaking. We opted to get our gutters replaced as well as our roof, which required a second day of work. The Roofing Pups employee in charge of this job (also named Alex) noticed that the color of the new gutters didnt match our house, and made a point of checking it with us before getting started. We really appreciated this as the new gutters would have clashed with the color of our siding! "From start to finish, WE Griffin Roofing did outstanding work. An important aspect as that they are both a roofing company as well as a gutter company, and in our case both sets of expertise were needed. We obtained three bids, and decided to choose WE Griffin because Matt Hoffman gave us such an insightful analysis and estimate of the work needed. We had purchased this house (a 1962 split level) last year, and the gutters were literally falling off their fascia boards and also the fascia boards were coming apart as well. Mr. Hoffman diagnosed that potentially extensive roof repair would also be required, including both the rafter tails as well as the sheeting under the shingles near the edges, and including that work in his estimate along with the gutter and trim replacement. His estimate of the work needed turned out to be very accurate as many of the rafter ends and a whole section of sheeting on the back side were rotted and needed repair/replacement. The crew was similarly excellent; they arrived on site as scheduled and worked tirelessly for nearly 4 days to do all the repair work, replace all the fascia boards, replace some of the missing cladding that had also come off in places, and install a complete set of new gutters. Each day when the crew left they tidied up the site very nicely, and at the end of the project the yard was completely clean. They worked very carefully with a lot of attention to detail. The outcome is that we now have gutters as well as fascia boards and cladding that all look spectacular! We are very pleased with their work."
