And a shower stall (only) at $15000, was NOT in my budget. I did like the description of how they install the shower unit. But I wanted more than that."

"I had never used this company before, soI was a little apprehensive. I met with Oscar at the house and we went over all our needs. Oscar was very professional and helped walk me through the process. Later we met at their store in Gaithersburg and again Oscar was awesome in the assistance he gave in picking out just the right materials for our dream bathroom. The work began on the date as agreed. The staff was there on time , covering all the walkways and bedroom furniture to prevent dust and dirt. Again, this was completed very professionally. The men worked all day for several days and if a question arose, they would consult with me about how to proceed, keeping me in the loop. The job went smoothly and was completed in a very short time. I have to say that our master bathroom has had a stunning transformation.. it is beautiful. The quality of all the work was first rate and it is the nicest room in the house. I can't thank DMV and Oscar enough for the great job they did. I would certainly recommend them to anyone contemplating a remodeling and can assure you that the work will be first rate. "We used VKB to convert our ½ bath/powder room into a full bath with walk-in shower. This entailed moving our front door and expanding the front porch. Overall, we experienced a lack of attention to detail and a lack of responsiveness that allowed for lapses in quality and mistakes in construction. The workmanship is merely adequate. We do not recommend VKB."

"Long story short, Allen was a pleasure to work with and I am so glad I found him to install an awning over my side exit. Short story long, I knew I was going to hire Allen over the other contractors I had talked to just from the estimate. Allen came by and took measurements, started writing up general designs while I was there, and talked through the details of the project with me. I have worked on several DIY projects with my dad and this was the same process we would take if we were doing it. Estimate aside, the work was well done and I am really happy with the result. Allen did the work himself with one other person and they were able to finish within their timeframe, which they had left a few days space for rain. This isn't like where you talk with a salesperson and then it's a completely different crew doing the work. Overall, highly recommend Allen and Arms Home Improvement. Because this is quality work, it is a bit expensive, but it was no more pricey than other estimates."
