Sheldon and his team recently finished putting a 'new roof' on our home, I highlight 'new roof' because they delivered more than just new shingles. Ridgecon installed modern intake venting and roof peak venting that is making a difference in the attic venting on hot days. I do not see this attention to detail in other new roofs being installed in my neighborhood. I was careful in my selection of Ridgecon as I had 11 proposals, all from highly recommended companies. "The crew, led by Kayleigh, arrived early, and they completed the job with the utmost professionalism. This was a roof replacement, with two layers of shingles. My neighbor left for work at 7 am and when she returned at 4 pm, they were done with all but a few touch-ups and finishes. "Extreme Exteriors did a fantastic job from start to finish. I reached out to this company to get a quote for the repair / replacement of my mother roof. Shortly after reaching out I received a call back from Jacob who is a real pleasure to work with. Jacob setup a convenient day and time for us to meet to take a look at the roof. Jacob being the professional he is took pictures of the shingles lifting, missing and moss growing in the valleys to share with me. After Jacob performed his roof inspection we sat down to discuss the process, materials and pricing for the job. Extreme Exteriors was able to come in approximately $300 less then comparable competitors. For insurance reasons I had a very aggressive schedule and required the roof installed ASAP - Jacob was able to coordinate with his crews along with pulling all the necessary permits needed to perform the job in the time frame I required it. This company does not mess around - the day after the shingles were delivered a crew showed up early at the house. Extreme Exteriors got the work completed in about 5 hours keeping the work area clean and they performed a Magnet sweep to pickup any stray nails. This company did a complete tear-off, installed GAF Snow Country Ridge Vent System, Front and Back Edge Vents, installed new drip edge and 6' of ice & water shield. They also install new flashing around the chimney. I would definitely use this company again for any of my future roofing needs and would highly recommend them to my friends and family."

"Having just moved into my home and also from my home inspector's recommendation, I wanted to have the chimney inspected and cleaned.  After contacting several chimney sweeps on Angie's List, I decided to go with A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper because of the company ratings, the price estimate was good, and I talked with the person who would actually do the work.  Lee actually came over on the wrong day, but apologized and agreed to come back the next day at our agreed data/time.  Lee showed up on time and was very professional.  Upon his initial inspection of the inside of the chimney, he realized that the chimney did not need to be cleaned, as it didn't appear to be used very much.  After his external inspection, he did recommend getting a new chase pan for the chimney.  The existing one was a 'builder's special' that after 19 years has seen better days.  We did notice water coming into the chimney area indicating some leakage from the chase pan.  Our home inspector also indicated water pooling in that area and took several photos of it.  We agreed to get the chase pan replaced and Lee didn't charge us for the cleaning visit.  Lee and his brother Frank came out in late August to take measurements for the new chase pan.  They have them custom-made by another company.  They were going to remove the old chase pan to bring to the company but decided to rely on Frank's measurements.  They returned later in the week to remove the old chase pan and install the new one.  It took several hours to complete the work.  Overall, they were very focused on doing the job right - making sure that everything was cleaned up, properly installed and sealed from weather.  All the time that they worked, they were doing the 'little things' that make for quality work (like re-nailing some popped nails after they borrowed my hammer).  After the work was completed, I felt like I won't have to worry about any issues with the chase pan for a long time.  And on top of that, they gave me a 20 year warranty on the chase pan.  If you want quality work at a fair price,  I would highly recommend A Cheaper Chimney Sweeper.

"Cory was on time, professional, and more importantly incredibly thorough during my new home inspection. He did a great job of explaining what he found in each room. He also did a wonderful job explaining what things were small fixes and what items should be done immediately due to safety reasons or things that should be done to prevent further maintenance issues in the future. I received his report within 24 hours and it was incredibly easy to read. It also helped during negotiations with the seller since we could be so specific on what was found. "It went great, it was a messy job because it involved removing the old, nasty insulation, but the guys did their best containing the mess. The attic is very difficult to work in due to the low ceiling and they did a great job, no cracks in the ceiling or anything. I also ended up with a "super deck" which is a platform with foam underneath giving me some more storage space that I desperately needed. I can see now that my neighbors house has icicles (which can signal an impending ice dam), and I have none. I gave a B for price because this is an expensive job, I don't believe you can get it for significantly cheaper, but the quality of the job, comfort, and properly functioning attic space are definitely worth it."
