I left the area open (they had to cut out drywall) for two months without incident and then had it redrywalled and painted. <br /> John was very thorough in trying to determine exactly where the leak originated before he started cutting into my drywall, which I appreciated. "We have learned over the years to have low expectations when it comes to contractors.  Well, we can honestly say that WMGB has raised the bar!  They contacted us within a day of our email through Angie's List. The salesman was out the next day and was knowledgeable about his product and helpful with questions.  The installer arrived as scheduled and was friendly and professional.  He carefully removed our old windows with no damage to our home and took them away.  He installed the new windows and cleaned up after himself.  The work was done on time and for the original cost.  The windows are beautiful and we wish we'd have done this years ago.  We could not be happier with our experience with WMGB (and trust us, that's a rarity in our home improvement projects!). <br />"

"It went very well. I contacted B-Dry and I was able to set up an appointment for an estimate very easily. While setting up the appointment, they let me know they had done a similar repair on the house back in 2001 (two owners ago), and that repair has held up to time. I scheduled the appoinment, they showed up on-time and completed the repair of the new crack that was letting water in. They also threw in chipping out some 'honeycombing' in the foundation that would very rarely let a trickle of water into the basement at no extra charge. While it hasn't rained yet since they repaired of the new crack, given that the 2001 repair hasn't given me any issues, I'm very confident that the new repair will hold up well. Overall, they did a great job!"

"The waterproofing system is working great, especially after this damp summer.  That I am pleased with (except it took a lot of effort on my part to clean up - 3 hours - after the workers, I even mentioned before they left what a mess they left - they didn't seem to care).  There were several areas in the basement that had a very sloppy job of the cement overlay.  They had to return to my house on two different occasions to finish what they said they would do.   The driveway is a different story altogether.  Although it's a very long driveway, there are a few in my neighborhood, the job they left was far from professional.  It slopes toward the side door, there are many, many areas that are uneven and not even close to smooth, they left cement on my neighbors lawn, and cement spray on my house.  And NOW, not 5 months later - there are 2 very large cracks in the cement.  I reported this to them 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back from the owner (Virgil) who is supposed to contact me.   If things would have gone smoothly thru the entire process I would be more sympathetic to their delay, but everything they have done has been handled about as unprofessionally as you can imagine.  I paid $5,000 for the new driveway (concrete) and I have two very large cracks in it now; this is September, it was poured in May.  Sadly, I would never recommend Ayers to anyone. <br />"

He then gave me the names of the products I needed and the steps I could take to fix it myself, as the problem wasn't as big or difficult as I originally thought. Not only will I be able to knock out this project in a weekend, it ended up saving me close to $300."
