"Stay Dry does it all, they are not only a waterproofing company but they actually repair and rebuild foundations. I had them rebuild one of my basement walls and it looks great. Best of all it doesnâ t leak at all like it used too. No matter what you need done give them a call."

"Was looking to renovate my basement but had a cracking foundation that leaked water in 2 places. I looked into just patching the walls to seal the leak but I knew in the long run that a complete fix of the basement walls and foundation would be a better fix. Everdry waterproofing provided a permanent solution to my basement problem. They shored up the walls and sealed the foundation and removed the water from inside to outside in a couple days. My basement has been free and clear of water since. I would recommend their process of waterproofing to anyone who want a dry basement without the worry of water entering the basement though the foundation"

"I couldn’t have asked for a better customer experience. Mark and his team came through for us in a big way. They were professional, extremely knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were the only customer - rarely do you have something go according to plan and completed on time. Stay Dry Waterproofing kept us updated on progress the whole time and completed the work way before we ever thought it could be done. I will be recommending this company to any friends who have water drainage/ foundational issues, whether it’s their primary residence or real estate investment property!"

"I had OBA install outdoor french drains and new downspouts a couple of years before they waterproofed my basement. They were the only company I could find who did it all. Basement waterproofing included removing old, putting in new: full inside perimeter drainage, enlarge sump pit, 2 sump pumps, I-beams and carbon fiber straps. Added in brand new: battery backup for sump and vapor barrier on most affected wall. When my basement got wet a year later after the work was done, they didn't hesitate to schedule someone to inspect. If was heavy condensation, barely a thin puddle compared to 2 inches of flowing water. They had to rework a 6 ft section and add cement around the I-beams, each on their own call outs. They didn't charge because I have a lifetime warranty, transferable to the next owner. I'll be working with them again soon for a professional level dehumidifier."

"We had Everdry waterproof our basement in 1994. They performed the work in a timely and efficient manner. They did exactly what they said they were going to do - to the letter. We had to call them in the summer of 2019 because the sump pump was acting up. They promptly came and fixed the problem with no charge or fee whatsoever, as it was covered under our warranty. We have been extremely happy since 1994 with the work they did! We highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing!"

"<p>I had the sump pump replaced by Basement Doctors Cincinnati during July 2013 with 3 years parts and labor warranty. Late Sunday evening (April 2015), when it was raining, found that the sump pump was not working. Called the local Cincinnati number and spoke with Matt. After couple of troubleshooting steps over the phone, he said he'll come over and replace the sump pump. In about 20 minutes, Matt came over and replaced the sump pump with no extract charge. Matt did not have a 1/2 HP sump pump on the truck, so temporarily put in a 1/3 HP and said he will follow-up and get it replaced with a 1/2 HP pump early this week. Excellent service!</p> <br />"

"Had Betts Structural Engineering come and look at the foundation of a house we were in contract on. Josh came out and was professional and informative. He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house."

FAQs for foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation projects in Clayton, OH

The most affordable way to waterproof your basement is with interior methods like waterproof paint, costing between $1 and $8 per square foot, or silicate concrete sealers priced at $4 to $6 per square foot. However, these solutions are only suitable for certain issues. If your basement moisture is due to more serious problems like a cracked foundation, you'll need more extensive (and costly) repairs.

Absolutely! Waterproofing your basement is a smart investment that can increase your home's value. By keeping your basement dry and free of moisture problems, you protect your home's structural integrity and make it more appealing to potential buyers. Plus, taking proactive measures now can prevent costly water damage repairs down the line.

The time required to waterproof a basement depends on the selected method. Some approaches to interior waterproofing, like paint or sealant, can be completed within a day. Installing new drains or weeping tiles will need at least two to three days of labor. Any forms of exterior waterproofing that require you to excavate land will require an additional three days of work to prepare the ground.

Yes, basement waterproofing can significantly increase your home's value. A dry, leak-free basement is a strong selling point for potential buyers, enhancing your property's desirability and market price. Investing in professional waterproofing not only protects your home's structural integrity but also ensures a healthier living environment by preventing mold and mildew growth.

Waterproofing both the interior and exterior of your basement offers the best protection against moisture. Exterior waterproofing stops water from penetrating your foundation, while interior methods manage any moisture that does enter. If you must choose one, exterior waterproofing is generally more effective, as it prevents water from reaching your home's interior in the first place.
