"Omni’s team was quick and respectful. They renovated my entire home exactly how I’d asked for it. I’ve recommended them to multiple friends/family. It’s so hard to find responsive contractors, and Omni really exceeded our expectations!"

"He contacted me very promptly and came to look at the project. He explained to me what the problem was and stated he did not have the proper special equipment to make the repair. He recommended a company that he felt sure would be able to do the work."

"Excellent. Mark Keys worked hard to get our house scheduled and repaired quickly so we could get it on the market to sell. They did great work at a great price. Took them two days to install 6 I-beam supports in the basement and to reinstall a window well."

"I contacted them via Angie's List message to help my mom with some projects. She had a big list that dad's health prevents him from helping with. Didn't hear back for a couple day, but when I called I got a prompt return call and apology for the message being missed. They came out, gave her an estimate, made some recommendations and mom hired them. They were on time or early each visit. I was pleased with most of the work. Bathroom wall repair looks good, light installs seem well done gates work better. Only downsides were they left a bit of a mess in the yard after the gutter cleaning, and that a third gate in the backyard was not repaired and mom was told it was improperly installed. I was confused why they weren't able to fix that, but didn't talk to them to find out. Plus they said we'd need to dig out some dirt to make the first gate open fully. I wasn't positive why they didn't do that for her, but I'm guessing they figured someone in the family could do it instead of charging for it. But the two gates they repaired do open properly now! I appreciated their recommendation that the ice machine repair wasn't worth the money, but mom insisted it was and is very happy with it. They also gave her recommendations for a deck repair person. My concerns were things that probably could have been dealt with had I been there to talk to them, and mom just didn't ask. But none of that was too major. She liked working with them. Overall, we were happy and would use them again. <br />"

"From start to finish, Brackmann delivered in spades. Their cost estimate was right on target, my project manager Jason was readily available and very helpful. In fact, when I discovered on the first day of demolition that the sink was backed up in another bathroom I would be using during the remodel, Jason had a plumber here within two hours to handle the problem. Bobby, the team leader on my project, was nothing short of amazing. He kept me apprised of any glitches he encountered (fortunately, they were minor), arrived promptly every morning and got the work done with as little disruption in the house as possible. I'd been dreading the thought of two weeks of construction work going on but everything went so smoothly that the time flew by and, at the end, I have a beautiful new bathroom. I will be calling Brackmann again for my next project."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Cleveland, MO

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
