While studying horticulture at Delaware Valley College, he worked at two garden centers to increase his knowledge of plant material. After graduating in 2000 with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design, he managed a garden center in Sussex County, New Jersey. After a few years, he then became a branch manager for a landscape management firm in Warren County, New Jersey. Since his background was in landscape design, he decided to focus his business design/build and lawn maintenance.
