"My deck stairs for my raised deck were in disrepair and needed to be totally rebuilt. I hired Chad with Grunts for Hire. He was very professional and great with communication. We agreed on a date and he was actually able to do it earlier. The work was great. Even better than the original stairs were. I would hire him again in the future."

"Bret did an excellent job for us. We had an over the phone estimate of the cost of the work. He arrived on time.  He explained what need to be done. He did the work required using a drop cloth or bucket to catch any shavings from the drilling he needed to do. He cleaned up and gave us information about our fuse box.  We got a detailed invoice and the work came in within the estimate.  Over all I am very happy with the work done and will call them again to have electrical work done. <br />"

"As all the other reviews mention, Andry can be difficult to understand due to the language barrier and accent. When I called to schedule an inspection for a quote, he just said he would be in town on Sunday & would call me when he would arrive. Instead of calling to say he would be there in an approximate time, he called when he was outside the house, which was unfortunate because I had just run to the store and had to turn around immediately. When he came back out to sign the actual contract/invoice, he did call to give me an approximate arrival time so I could plan to be home. The original quote was written on the back of a business card. If it wasn't for the other reviews, I would have dismissed him outright. <br /> I had a corner of the foundation that was seriously cracked and chipping away. It was mostly a stucco exterior, but the underlying concrete was damaged too. He came on Sunday to sign the contract and came back on Monday to do the work. I came home from work that day to find him cleaning up after restoring the entire side of my foundation. It was beautifully done and looks like solid work. The only downside is that it doesn't match the other 3 sides because they have a "roughed up" white stucco look. He told me that I could easily paint the concrete to match, which I may or may not do. I like Andry's work much better than the original look of the white stucco exterior. It's a nice seamless piece of work. <br /> I regret not taking a "before" pic because he took a worn out, crumbling slab of foundation and made it fresh & new. <br />"

"Mike & his crew were excellent. They were punctual & very receptive to any changes that needed to be made at the last moment. The entire crew were very professional, hard working & frequently checked in with me about how I wanted things done, where to place items, etc. In short, Action Moving & Storage was the best thing about this move. They made it seamless & easy. This is a company you can trust to do right by you!"

"Kris listened to what I wanted and masterfully transformed my vision into a reality. Kris also handled a few additional tasks; i.e., finding screens for my windows and the patio door. The paint color and stain matched perfectly. He as entirely professional and a joy to work with. I would recommend Kris without hesitation. He is the first person I will call for additional work on my house."

"We are renting out our duplex and had multiple repairs that needed to be done. Mr. Handyman was available immediately to get to our rental property and handle all of our problems. They were prompt, efficent, friendly and very fairly priced. Our Techncian was excellent and very kind. FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Clintonville, WI

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
