"Todd at Express Sunrooms or Rock Hill gave us a prompt visit and detailed quote to install screening in our deck. Sent out a team quickly to do the work. Even thought the temperature outside was over 100 degrees, these guys were amazing. Results are stunning. Great service and price."

"Todd was easy to talk to, listened and helped with figuring out the best approach to accomplish what I wanted/needed. There was a misunderstanding on French door measurements to replace my existing faux French going into the living area, which resulted in the door I ordered from Lowe's being too small. Todd accepted responsibility for that though and I took care of coordinating for the reorder and exchange with Lowe's. If Lowe's had not messed up with the replacement - that hiccup would have been a minimal pain and delay. As it is though, a job that was started in October is just about ready to be completed in Feb. Two main factors - rain that wouldn't quit which caused a muddy yard that made it impossible for them to work AND the incompetency of Lowes. Overall, the finished room looks beautiful. One part of the porch was done with the windows, etc. and the other part was simply screened in. I raise butterflies and my object was to protect my caterpillars from predators and to keep bugs away in general. To help with that too, Todd suggested screening the length of the porch underneath (above the patio). I'm looking forward to the concept of being able to sit outside without getting eaten alive or battling other 'creatures' indigenous to this state (if you know what I mean)."

Customers say: Quality work

"Our construction has just begun but Shane Spargo’s attention to our wants is everything we need. He was able to determine what Rock Hill needed to move our project forward, Air-Port for the Airstream, workshop, retaining wall, excavation, patio and new driveway. He does what he says and explains everything to us."

"EXCELLENT craftsmanship. Super high quality work. Very communicative - never ghosted us or left us in the dark. Five stars on all of that!! The only reason I don't give 5 stars overall is the timeline. We were originally quoted 8-10 weeks for our screened porch and it took a lot longer. There were things out of his control that contributed to that, so we understood. And again, he kept us in the loop. He also built us a new shed during that time and that slowed down the progress of the porch as well. We loved Calvin and would be happy to have him do more work for us."

"I have used this Sales person, now the owner and the installers 4 times since 2010 to replace the original homes windows and doors with Pella fiberglass "Impervia" products. 60%-70% of the quality and efficiency is in the installation of the product and the overall warranty. I don't get excited about too many home projects, but this has helped my energy efficiency, my curb appeal, and the resale value of my home with a transferable warranty. If there is a window crack or a caulking issue, they and Pella have taken care of the problem. I price compared to other Pella options and they beat others price. They also had good 0% financing options as well."

"<br />I gave screen mobile another chance after seeing the wonderful job they did for the 2015 homearama home. I met a wonderful young lady at the builders model home and was given an estimate. She was prompt, professional and very knowledgable of the product line. I'm very sorry her name escapes me at the moment. Product a little pricey but well worth it. I'm having a home built and will have Screen Mobil install motorized screens after closing."

"This was a professional experience from quoted proposal to completion. Mike answered all of our questions quickly, accurately, and is a consummate professional. Our 20 windows took 3 days to install, exactly as quoted. Kurt and his team took care to prevent damage to floors, showed up on time and cleaned up each day. Windows were cleaned inside and out. The finished product is flawless and we are delighted with the results."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Clover, SC

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
