"I was disappointed that the service tech did not have the replacement faucet or garbage disposer with him when he came out. I made it clear in my request for an estimate that at a minimum, these two items need to be repaired/replaced so he should have brought them when he came. Instead, I had to wait for an hour for him to drive to the "warehouse" to pick up the items and come back. I did not see or sign the written estimate before I agreed to the quote, and I do believe I was gouged on the price, but the work needed to be done so I did not press the issue with John. The employee that contacted me to set up the appointment was also very friendly, prompt, courteous and professional. The lady that called the other day to see how things went was friendly and professional. For these reasons, I am willing to hire Hope Plumbing again for future plumbing need; however, I will scrutinize the invoice and demand to see the written estimate before hand."

"I called AA in the morning and they were out that afternoon! Our drains were running slow and backing up a little bit. We weren't sure exactly what the problem was but hadn't had our septic pumped since we moved in 4 years ago so hoped this would solve it. They charged a little extra to dig out the tank lid. It only took them 30 minutes start to finish - they hardly spent any time pumping. He told me we only had a 300 gallon tank, but they charge $225 up to 1,000 gallons. For us it seemed a little pricey, but for anyone with a 1,000 gallon tank, I think their prices are more than reasonable. A good experience all around - my drains are flushing fine now - all I'm worried about!"

"Jeff and Russ were punctual and very polite. Russ even apologized for being early. I was surprised to notice that one had removed his shoes and the other was wearing shoe covers before entering my house. I showed them the water spot on my ceiling which was my main source of concern and then explained to them some of my girlfriend's complaints of noisy water drains and periodic musky smells in the guest bathroom. I escorted them to the master bathroom where I assumed the leak was coming from. They were quickly able to find the source of the leak which was from a missing gasket on the bottom of the shower door. They then did some diagnosis on the various noises that seem to happen in the guest bathroom as water drains from the master shower. After discussing a number of different scenarios they explained that the most likely reason for the noises and possibly the smell is the lack of use of the guest shower and master bathtub. After running some water through those respective pipes the noises appear to have stopped. I was more than pleasantly surprised when they told me that they were not going to charge me anything for the service calll!!! I certainly hope that I do not run into any additional plumbing issues but if I do I will call Russ and Jeff and Pipe Dreams first. <br />"

"My experience with Roby Plumbing went very well. I called them and they were out here within about an hour and a half and they solved the problem. That's pretty dawning when you start having water in your basement, you don't know where it's coming from, and you don't know how long it's going to go, but he came right out.  I thought it was just the drain the basement, but it ended up being the drain going out to the main line.  He had a snake with him, so he put it in there and ran it through about 5 times.  Apparently I had gotten roots in the drain going from the house, and the water that was standing around the house didn't have anywhere to go.  He said  in these older houses the water drains into it and it was forcing water into the basement through the walls and the floor.  So he cleaned that out and had everything set up at a very reasonable cost in just a couple of hours.  It required the special skill and tools to do it so the price was very reasonable.  Roby Plumbing was probably one of the best plumbers I have ever called before."
