"My house gradually lost water pressure over a few days, until there was no pressure at all. I called A & T, and two fellows came to the house to investigate the problem. They quickly determined that the problem was not with the pump, but with the air tank. They diagnosed the problem, replaced a switch and filled the tank with air. I was dreading spending $2000 or more on a new pump. As it was, it cost less than $200. I was impressed with their professionalism and sill,"

"We are Jake and Karley Deck and for many years have been aware of the importance of the quality of our water. As a Military couple, we have kind of lived all over. We’ve experienced it all, from super-soft to super-hard. After about a year here in El Paso, it became overwhelmingly apparent that our family’s comfort and health was being negatively impacted by the local water. Dry skin, itchiness, the disgusting smell of chlorine, and sometimes even the smell of the sewer was coming out of our faucets and that was something we dealt with on a daily basis here. The thought of having to continue to bathe in that kind of water was really stressing us out! We had a water filtration system for our drinking water and were thinking about a water softening system for our entire house, but didn’t know where to start, and, in hindsight, a water softening system was not really what we needed. Thankfully, some family friends started talking to us about some of their issues with their water and how they resolved them… and told us about Dave. They were SO enthusiastic about the changes they experienced that we decided to just go over to their house and check it out. It certainly did not sound like your average water softening system, and, of course, they wouldn’t stop raving about it. We decided to call Dave and set up a test of our water at our house to see if his system would be a fit for us since our friend’s made it sound like it was the answer to all of our troubles… ? From the initial testing and demonstration, through the final full system installation, Dave Ramos was professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, showed a genuine desire to improve our family’s life… Who else DOES that? He ensured that we had a complete understanding of how it all worked---what parts where used for what, and why each part of his system was truly the best we could get for our situation (and MONEY). Dave really gave us the best of himself in all ways. Check this out… He installed a trial unit so that we could experience the results without ever having to commit to something permanent (for FREE 99!). Talk about confidence in your product! That first night, it was immediately noticeable. The water felt and smelled clean, it was soft, and our skin felt so smoother and not dried out or itchy! It was amazing! And this was only a partial system, the TRIAL unit! SOLD. We’ve had a full system installed in our house for nearly 4 months now and can’t imagine our life here in El Paso without it! Honestly. We are a mixed family with vastly different skin types and, with Dave’s system, nearly every issue any of us had previously experienced, has been eliminated. Even when we moved from our smaller house to the home we bought, Dave transported our system and custom installed it at our new home. He's just the best and is on top of our annual services and keeps our system running flawlessly. We fully recommend that if you are thinking about improving everything in your family’s home life… from drinking, to bathing, to washing, and even the longevity of your appliances, you should DEFINITELY let Dave help you! As stated above, we’ve lived all over the place. El Paso has been, in many ways, the biggest disappointment when it’s come to the work ethic and quality of product, regardless of what vendor we have dealt with (…and there were quite a few, because we’ve just completed having a new house built). We were beginning to lose hope, but then God blessed us with a man of Dave’s integrity and commitment to His high standards and we really couldn’t thank Him enough. If he's ever running late, please give him some grace, because sometimes the custom install that is before yours may have come with challenges that he is overcoming. He will never leave a customer dissatisfied with his work and will spend just as much time overcoming any challenges with yours so that you are satisfied too! Please check Dave Ramos out! It will change your life in so many important ways, friends."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"Guest bathroom toilet was leaking pretty severely after an influx of houseguests. Got a very quick appointment from Marathon. It was necessary to replace the whole thing since the tank was cracked. I let them know that financially I couldn't pay a whole lot for the new unit. They were very considerate and found a nice new unit for an excellent price and installed it in a short time. Advised me on repairing the damage to wall and floor caused by the leaking. Very professional and pleasant. <br /> I called Marathon because the previous summer they had helped with another major ($1200) plumbing problem originating in garage. <br />"

"Wonderfully. The installers were thorough, professional, on-time, patient with instruction, and even fixed one or two things outside the scope of the work. I've used TLC for many different kinds of projects in my home, from the very small to replacing all the piping underneath my house and yard so I've experienced their work quality and the quality of their interaction with the customer. They're professional through and through, and I feel confident when I use their services. And their estimators are excellent as well, staying in contact before the job and answering all my questions so that everything works out. Can't say enough good about this company and the quality of their employees and their work."

"The motor on my well pump went out. High end costs from some companies could have ran 4000.00. They however pulled the pump examined it told me what I needed and didn't try sell me anything I didn't need. Cost a fraction of what it could have. They also provided me with a tutorial on my well system at no extra charge. Good group of people. <br />"

"Davis Plumbing was hired to replace a faucet in my home. My home is older and has some quirks for sure, we're aware of this and understood that some extra work might be necessary. The plumber arrived on time, installed the faucet and warned us that because of the older nature of the pipes we should watch carefully for leaks. He was professional and courteous. The pipes did leak and this is where the problems began. When I called the emergency/after hours line about the leak I could never get through to anyone so we had to wait through the weekend before we could speak to the office. When I called on Monday to let them know the sink was leaking, I was able to get someone in the same day - so far so good. However, due to the nature of the leak my garbage disposal was removed - (the seal was cut without asking me first). The job could not be finished that day because we needed to either buy a new seal for the old disposal or purchase a new disposal. We were told that we could make a decision that day and let the office know. The plumber thought he'd be available the next day. We decided to replace the old disposal. When we called back to let the plumber know the office told us that there would be no way we could get the job completed for almost two weeks because this was a very busy time for them. Meanwhile I have a sink with a hole in it! I asked if this counted as emergency/after hours work and was told no because you can't preschedule that kind of work. I explained that this was not a new job but just finishing up an existing job and was told that there was nothing that could be done because they were already booked for the next two weeks - even though my job wasn't finished. When I let the office know that the plumber said he could return after hours I was told that if I wanted the plumber after hours he would be tired and the quality of his work might be "shoddy" and that the work couldn't be guaranteed to be done right. I finally had to speak to the owner to get this issue resolved. The owner was courteous and apologized and I was able to schedule the plumber to come back and finish the job within 24 hours. The plumber returned and finished the job - he was professional and did good work. However, we were charged the full amount a second time as if this was a new job and not simply the completion of a job in progress. When I asked about the cost I was told it was high because the water valve I needed cost over $100 (it looks like some I've seen at Home Depot for less than $10) and that the diagnostic fee was necessary because that would ultimately be cheaper than if I was charged full price for the parts. I understand the need to pay for parts/ labor, but I disagree with charges that treat this like a new job. While the quality of the plumber's work was good I just don't think it's worth the hassle to use this company. You shouldn't have to speak to an owner to get a job completely fully, or be charged twice to finish the same job."
