"Everything went very well. They were very thorough and professional. They removed all of the materials (sheetrock, tile, insulation, etc.) that had been affected with the mold themselves. They did not leave it for me to clean up. The area was treated for mold and we were able to return to the home that evening."

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

"I would like to share with you the best customer experience! Tajuana at Absolute Cleaning & Restoration coordinated an amazing customer experience for me. She arranged everything exactly as we requested. She communicated quickly with any new information. She updated us immediately when the job was done and explained all the findings. Chad was our technician, he was timely, courteous and provided even more than he promised. Not only did he work diligently on our project, he is so professional, he came back to check on the job and make sure everything was perfectly done. I can't say enough about this great experience. You dont find people who are willing to work hard like this and treat the customer so very very well. Many thanks!"

"The owner helped us with understanding this new ionizer technology and had to be contacted again about placing them in a better place in the HVAC system to increase ion output into the living space.  The ionizers are a bit pricey for such small units.  They help to kill germs in the home and remove new house construction VOCS, but we were disappointed that they did not remove all of the fumes. One email was not returned, but overall we had a good experience."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Collins, MS

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
