"I needed to have a 2nd driveway installed in order to drive a 40 ft camper into the backyard for storage. The challenge was the ditch right off the street which transitioned into a slight slope up into the front yard. The driveway entrance and grading would have to be angled just right so there would be a smooth transition up with the truck and trailer so I would not bottom out or drag the rear. John (owner) of Boss Hogg Industries did not shy away from this challenge as some others had. He listened to what I needed, humbly and confidently shared his expertise and worked with me to come up with a plan that would get the job done right. Once we were on the same page, John coordinated everything from beginning to end. He was always accessible and had great response time to any questions I had. On job day, John and team showed up on time and worked together to turn my vision into reality! "I contacted Austin about clearing some property for a new garage I was building. The same day I contacted him he came out to look at my project. We discussed the plan and he quoted me a great price. Soon after, he started on the work and did an excellent job clearing the trees, shrubs and stumps from the area. Once clearing was completed, he leveled the area and then, dumped gravel to make a solid foundation for my concrete pad. Austin had some great suggestions like using #3 gravel then 57’s on top to prevent the pad from sinking into the ground. I’m highly pleased with the outcome of his work and will continue to hire him for more jobs in the future."

"Alan's crew laid a sidewalk for me in May 2018. I posted a very good review then, as I was very pleased with the work. However, there are some problems with the sidewalk now. After only a year, one of the control joints has cracked all the way accross and to the ground. In talking with Alan, he tells me this is normal. I do not think he understands what I was describing, as I have since learned it is not normal, and even the 20 year old sidewalks in my neighborhood have control joints that are not cracked. My issue is that he does not return my calls. It took three days to get an answer in person, after leaving several messages. He said it would come by and look at the sidewalk - that was a week ago. I have since left three more messages and he has not returned my call or text message. I do know he lost the employee who did such a good job a year ago. I recommended Alan to a friend who was not satisfied with the work, which was clearly not up to the standards of mine. This was after he lost the worker who did such a good job for me. I notice there has not been a review posted since then. I would not recommend Alan based on his unprofessionalism to even respond to an inquiry about a problem."

"I would highly recommend Underground Services First. They did a great job, and they found a couple of other plumbing issues in our house that weren't found initially, and fixed them for free. They were good at explaining what needed to be done and how they were going to do it in layman's terms. They were very thorough and made sure everything was functioning, not leaky, and clean before they left. It was easy to schedule an estimate and it was easy to get on their project calendar. Everyone was kind, responsive, and professional."
