"I was glad with how fast, friendly, easy it went for me to turn it in and get results quickly. They helped with my Angie's discount so it was good to know i got the best price (less than I imagined) to have this done. The possibility of having mold in a house is stressful enough... glad to have this go smoothly."

"They came out quickly and gave us an estimate to remediate mold in our crawlspace. Within a few days they returned to spray and fog under our house. They were very thorough and did testing to make sure that our problem was remedied. Their technician, Lane, was professional and great to work with!"

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

"I would highly recommend Servpro for duct working cleaning. MY phone encounter gave me basic information and I asked for a call back for full information. The person I needed to speak with was out of the office and I was given a day that he would call me. He called back and answered all my concerns and gave me a detailed explanation on the proceedure. I am asthmatic and had concerns about flying about the house and any residue left over. He assured me that this would not be an issue because the recepticle would be outside. <br /> The arrived at the appointed hour. They where very efficient. Part of the process is to cut a small opening in the duct work to "suck" out the debris and dirt. Unknown to them after they finished an area my husband put his hand in the opening and swept the area in both directions and covered the complete circle of the duct. His hand came out perfectly clean. He is a builder and over saw the process. He was very pleased with their professionalism. You would not have known they had been here. <br /> I would certainly use them again in the future for this project. <br /> Sorry about the delay, I thought I had written this review in the past. <br /> Georgina Gonzalez <br />"

"PuroClean showed up and began immediately to dry the damage floors. They also worked with our insurance company helping them understand the damage caused by the leak in a very short time, like less than a week. They were professional and provided Value for the their work including drying the damp areas from below the floor and above removing the possibility of a mold issue."

FAQs for toxicity and mold removal projects in Columbia, MO

Remediation should keep mold from returning as long as the moisture source is eliminated. Fix leaks, control humidity, and replace water-damaged materials, then schedule periodic inspections to stay ahead of new growth. With those safeguards, your home can stay mold-free for the long haul while protecting both health and property value.

Most pros recommend leaving the home while they work on mold remediation. Removing mold stirs up airborne spores that can aggravate respiratory issues, and contractors can work more efficiently in an empty space. A short, temporary relocation keeps everyone in your family safe and lets the crew finish the job without interruption.

Mold shouldn’t return once the moisture problem is fixed. Stay vigilant: repair leaks right away, keep humidity below 50 percent with a dehumidifier placed in damp areas, and improve ventilation where needed. Routine checks for leaks and mold and quick repairs go a long way toward keeping your home mold-free.

Mold spores can trigger nasal congestion, throat irritation, coughing, wheezing, eye irritation, or skin rashes. People with asthma, allergies, or weakened immune systems often feel the effects sooner and more intensely. Some molds also release mycotoxins linked to serious respiratory or neurological issues. Swift remediation and better ventilation are the best defenses.
