Get matched with top gate for driveway or security installers and replacers in Columbus, OH

"I highly recommend Zimmer Gates and Doors. The gate was installed 5 weeks ahead of schedule and exceeded my high expectations. Darryn listened to our needs, made suggestions for a style of gate that would compliment our aesthetics and recommended options to best meet our reasons for wanting/needing a gate. Cost effective, very high quality of product and first-class installation and service. Darryn not only hand washed and dried the gate upon completion, but spent a great deal of time walking me through the operational and technical components and answered my every question. Was self sufficient and required nothing from the client. Meticulous and tidy and the grounds looked better than before he arrived. Darryn even gave me his mobile number should I have questions in the future. I have met very few contractors that exhibit this level of passion for their work and I am thrilled with the overall result."

Hello,\nI’m Tom I have been involved in some type of construction since I was little working with my Dad. I have narrowed things down to decks and fences as I love working outside. I do enjoy those small indoor jobs on cold rainy days, putting things together.\nI would love an opportunity to meet and shop with fence repairs or replacement. \nThank you for considering me.\nTom

"I have used them for fall and spring clean up. they do a nice job. We decided to mow our own grass this year and discontinued that service HOWEVER I gave them dates to mow when we were out of town and they said they would mow -- I sent them a reminder by email, text and voice mail before we left. When we arrived home our lawn was not mowed and very tall. I was very disappointed and I thought they considered me a good customer. I have left them messages, texted them and sent email and they have NEVER responded. I always paid their bill in a timely manner and even recommended them to a few people. I really don't understand why they didn't call and let me know they were going to be unable to mow lawn when we were out of town."

"Elite Fence did the job quickly and worked hard to find replacement parts that matched as closely as possible as the fence was old and out of production. It wasn't a perfect match but they were upfront about that fact from the beginning so no problems there. Price was great and the service was done quickly. The fence looks nice and this helped end nearly 8 months of trying to find a vendor to repair the fence. Would definitely hire again as they go the extra mile, even when the job isn't particularly lucrative."

"It was a wonderful experience working with SAT! They always responded quickly, and got back to us when they said they would! The plans Eric laid out for us were exactly what we wanted, and the installers were hard working and efficient, even blowing our leaves off of the grass every day before they left. We will continue to use SAT for our landscaping needs in the future!"

"Luis is a great worker! He installed a pocket door in our bedroom and a new deck in our backyard. He has fair prices, is a good communicator and shows up when he says he’s going to. He’s our go-to guy for any projects around the house."

"They destroyed the old one that we attempted to put up. They hauled away the pile of rubble that was “supposed” to be a waterfall. They were on time, they were beyond courteous and helpful and quick. They did it in two days; they had it up in time for Mother’s day. The gates were kept closed; there were no cigarette butts on the ground. They let us know what they were doing. Jake talked to us several times before he got started so we knew what he was doing. I was very, very pleased."

"Micah Dean came out and gave me an estimate.  When it came to discussion of replacement plantings he did not seem to be very knowledgeable.  He suggested including day lillies.  I requested varied colors.  He said he didn't think they were available.  Oakland Nursery nearby has at least six colors and online, dozens of colors can be found.  Oh well, his estimate was considerably lower than others so I signed on the dotted line...even prepaid so that the work could be done if I was not in town.  Micah promised to call at least the night before to let me know when they were coming.  He called on the Morning of the 24th and said they were on their way to my house.  I was an hour and a half away at the time and so by the time I loaded up and came home they were almost finished.  They had not done some of the work around the deck but had done a lot of other stuff that had not been discussed.  That part looked great so I said fine but I still wanted the work around the deck done.  The work crew was pretty defensive saying that they only do what their boss tells them.....okay, that's fine.  I called Micah and he came out later that night and finished the job.  Obviously he did not supervise his crew......and I didn't get back in time to oversee or this could all have been prevented.  Quality of the plantings was not the greatest.  Plants were unevenly spaced with several too close together and some of not very good quality.  Their estimate was by far the lowest of the three I received so I guess I got my money's worth but if you hire these people, just know that you are getting bargain work for a bargain price.

"As is common with Angie's List special deals, the service was extremely over subscribed and the process was not executed until the winter had passed, the 2014 spring rains subsided and the lawn was finally aerated.  I saw no seeding or fertilization on the lawn or the driveway. It was not worth the time and effort to call again and have the issue resolved.  I will probably use them again, but will take time off from work to closely supervise the actions and insure I receive everything I am paying for.
