"Fence looks good, one post was cut to short so there is a visible dip, not a huge issue. Was not the best at communication in trying to set up times and getting papers signed bid submitted that was needed by our HOA, but overall fence was completed in 2 days very quickly not sure if price was comparable. I will say no other fence company answered or responded to request to have a fence installed."

"<p>When a person works 8am to 5pm and works for a boss that<br /> <br /> does not like it when you take off it is not easy getting needed work done at<br /> <br /> home.  I had a holiday coming up today and<br /> <br /> wanted two companies to come out to my home and <br /> <br /> give me an estimate.  To make sure<br /> <br /> they had plenty of time I called a week ahead of time.  I called Sealwize and Bill's Custom<br /> <br /> Concrete.  Sealwize could not come.  They did call me and gave me a number to<br /> <br /> call.  I called the number and someone<br /> <br /> who does not speak English answered and told me I had a wrong number as best as<br /> <br /> I could understand.  I tried to call<br /> <br /> Sealwize back, but was unable to get through to them.  Now my holiday is gone and I am still no<br /> <br /> closer to getting my work done. I will have to call some other companies and<br /> <br /> see if they can come out when I am off for dental or doctor appointments.  I need to get this done before the end of March.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p> <p>I guess it depends on what is important to each person. After I wrote my review of Sealwize on Angie?s List I received a text message from Sealwize telling me that their reviews were very important to them and asking me to either delete or revise my review.  I wrote that it had been important to me to have someone come and evaluate my need while I was off work on my holiday.  Sealwize wrote that my contact must have gotten lost and that they were very sorry.  I am revising my evaluation as requested by Sealwize and raising the score that I gave them from a C up to a B to give them the benefit of the doubt.</p> <p> <br /> <br /></p>"

"They arrived at the house exactly on time and assessed the walls and ceilings and gave me an estimate.  They said it would be done in 4 days and it was! Couldn't afford to do the whole house this time, so they painted the living room, dining room, master bedroom and the closets in the master bath, and the kitchen and pantry.  They painted all the walls AND ceilings, and some of the ceilings were vaulted and very difficult.  They did excellent prep and clean up.  Never left a drop and were completely finished on the day and time they promised.  I would consider using them again. <br />"

"I had a 20 x 40 pool with gunite bottom and fiberglass sides that had been leaking since I bought the property over 20 years ago. I hired a "professional" shortly after buying the property that burned through my cash and when he was done -- the pool still leaked. I had more than one "leak expert" search for the leak(s) and determine that it wasn't in the plumbing. I drained, patched, painted and sealed 3 times over the years but the water loss got to the point that I couldn't keep the chemicals balanced. I had to bury the pool, build a new pool or take one more shot at a repair. I went into this "pool refurbish project" as a skeptic and was ready to call "FOUL!" on anything that smacked of salesmanship or the "good as new" promise. Texas Fiberglass Pools assessed the pool; provided recommendations for a full overhaul: provided an itemized pricing proposal so that I could choose what I wanted to do with consideration given to cost; talked me through the pros and cons of my choices; and answered several rounds of questions so that I could become a relative expert on their process. AND, in addition, I tore apart their contract looking for "weasel clauses" and requested language to clarify my expectations of warranty and post-sale responsibility. They never showed fatigue or indicated that they wanted to fire me as a customer! The project was well managed. Workers were here early and worked six days a week. They left the work site orderly at the end of each day. They covered my back porch with plastic when they were sanding to prevent the dust from entering the house. They were respectful of my dogs and made certain gates were closed when they left each day. We had agreed on progress-pay through the course of the project. When payment was due, we sat down, walked through what was done and what remained and I wrote a check. The project took longer than expected. This was a combination of weather and Christmas holidays. Considering that it took be two months of questions and answers before I made a decision, I didn't complain. My decision process delayed the start and pushed us into the holidays. This work was done at the end of 2016. I had issues with the timers failing in 2017 and some minor tile problems in the spring of 2018 and again in 2019. When I call they respond. I don't feel like they took the money and ran. They have always done what they've said they would do so I trust they will respond should I have any issues going forward. I highly recommend Texas Fiberglass Pools, Inc . for pool repair. The cost was 1/3 the estimate to build a new pool and I have as close to a new pool as I can get. I finally have an attractive, serviceable pool that doesn't leak and I look forward to the swimming season each year."

FAQs for deck, fence, patio or porch clean and seal projects in Concho, OK

You should clean your deck before sealing it. Cleaning before refinishing is critical. If you don’t remove dirt and debris, you'll trap moisture in the wood, which prevents the new sealer from working correctly and can lead to costly repairs. Whether you need to sand, power wash, or sandblast depends on your deck's condition.

Sealing and staining your deck are essential maintenance methods that protect and beautify your outdoor space. Stain adds rich color and guards against fading, while sealant fortifies the wood against moisture and weather damage. Wood type, climate, deck age, and the degree of existing damage determine whether your deck benefits from one or both treatments. Using both options extends your deck’s durability and enhances its overall appearance.

Power washing and sealing your deck costs $500 to $1,700. This process combines the removal of stubborn dirt and debris with a protective seal that preserves the wood’s integrity. Effective cleaning eliminates harmful buildup, and a proper seal prevents moisture damage and wood decay, ensuring long-term durability and reducing future repair expenses.

Your deck must be sealed every one to three years to maintain its strength and appearance. Regular sealing is essential to protect the wood against moisture, mold, and harmful UV rays. A consistent sealing schedule prevents rapid deterioration and costly repairs. Inspections should be performed annually to determine if the protective layer remains intact, extending the life of your deck.

Leaving your deck untreated compromises its structural integrity and safety. An unprotected deck rots quickly due to moisture and environmental exposure, which means that neglecting sealing results in rapid decay and expensive replacement costs of $4,125 to $11,650. Sealing your deck is essential for maintaining its durability and protecting your home.

The sealant on your deck dries within a few hours and reaches full cure within 72 hours before regular use. It is essential to wait until the complete curing period to ensure the protective layer fully sets and resists weather and foot traffic. Proper drying guarantees that your deck is fully protected against moisture and environmental damage, ensuring lasting quality.
