A second plumber later performed a camera scope and found that I only needed scale cleaning under the house for about $2,000. I was also informed that the line is PVC beyond the portion under the house, not entirely cast iron as I was led to believe. When I began questioning why asbestos testing had not been suggested before invasive work was being discussed, the company dropped the job and refunded my money. Yes, I was refunded.
