"We have had many things done by A-State Handymen. Some of the most recent are a complete bathroom remodel, tile installation in multiple rooms, siding and drywall for a room addition, deck addition, baseboards throughout entire house. ALL of the projects they have done have been completed either on time or early and were always very reasonably priced. We have met many of the employees and they have always been super friendly and accommodating around our schedules. We will continue to use them for any future home improvement needs."

"It went very smoothly! <br /> Keith was able to come out and do the jobs the same day I called him and in a timely manner. He let me know the issues and what parts he would need to buy. <br />"

"Job was completed within time frame given. Very professional and takes pride in his work. We couldn’t have been happier with the job he did. He repaired some pre-existing issues with our house at a very reasonable rate. Such as; replacing 8 cracked windows, replacing rotten wood under the eves and building three new porch columns. His bid for our house was competitive to other bids we received. Would I hire him again? You bet. Am I recommending him? You bet."

"After receiving damage to our home due to storms, we called a few local contractors for estimates. I chose A & D Restoration because of the professionalism and knowledge that the rep (Daniel) had when he came out to give us an estimate. I knew immediately that we wanted A & D to do out repairs (and we had multiple types of damage). They completed ALL of the work in a timely manner and worked hard with my insurance company!! I HIGHLY recommend A & D for ANY type of home repair. They are honest, and their prices are good. Daniel went above and beyond the norm for us and in the future, they will always be the company we use for home repair/restoration of any kind!!!!!"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Conway, AR

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
