"Michael is an incredible detailed professional custom home builder. We are, four years after moving in, still grateful for the excellent general contracting he provided, and the careful personal investment he made in our home. Attention to detail. Great communication. Worked with us on keeping within our budget. Helped us accomplish our goals. Highly recommend Michael and Equity Builders."

"He was wonderful, professional and meticulous. We were so impressed by his professionalism and how genuinely nice he was. I think the pictures speak for themselves and how great it was to have him as our contractor. He was affordable and always always willing to talk and go over the project together. Changes were never an issue and we love that he was always willing to work with us. We could not have asked for a better contractor. Would 100% recommend!"

"WOW - where do I even start???  First of all Jerry and Noble came out as scheduled to give me a bid on the project which was a complete bath remodel and bumping out walls into the master bedroom to enlarge the main bath - I received the estimate within 3 days via email - since I do not live full time in Idaho and spend most of the year in CA I needed a contractor that was reliable and could email and take pics etc and keep me informed along the way <br /> After several other bids Jerry was very good at answering questions and providing feedback so I decided to go with him. <br /> He started the project about a month out one time, etc <br /> The project took approx 1 month to complete and he was there every single morning on time and ready to go - I did not experience even one issue along the way - we did do some changes but he was always great at giving me suggestions and advise and he was very flexible to work with <br /> I then had to leave before the project was finished - he sent pictures and kept me informed along the way - I cant say enough about the quality of workmanship, professionalism and just an overall great guy!! <br /> I would use him in a heart beat again <br /> You wont go wrong hiring him <br />"

"Stacy Carlon (Core Construction) has been to our home several times over the past two years.  He has always been precisely on time, is polite and respectful, and he has succeeded in doing many projects around our home.  These projects include fixing doors that wouldn't close properly, fixing my chest of drawers, assembling an intricate dollhouse for our granddaughter, fixing kitchen cabinets, re-attaching our mail box, repairing a small European carousel, and repairing a broken garage door.  In fact, we haven't given him a challenge that he hasn't met.  His prices are fair and his work is excellent.  We will hire him in the future for sure."

"when I was BBQing one evening I forgot to move the BBQ out away from the house. Well, as a result several pieces of our vinyl siding, melted. We removed the melted vinyl siding in order to repair it. Upon removing the siding we discovered that there was no insulation between the house & the siding. Our home had always been hard to heat or cool efficiently. So while the siding was removed we asked Tory to come over and look at it. My husband asked Tory about an insulation wrap he had read about. Tory felt we could benefit greatly and be more comfortable after the house was wrapped. We agreed and hired Dan & Tory for the job. What a project. Dan & Tory came over to begin the process: 1: Remove ALL vinyl siding from a two story home. 2: Reinstall all windows that were simply resting on surrounding framework. They could be removed with simply pushing on them. (This was discovered upon removal of vinyl siding.). 3: Wrap entire home with sheets of specialized insulation. 4: next came the fun part. Reinstall ALL the vinyl siding that was removed at the beginning of the job. Every day there were many tools & materials on the ground, but each evening everything was put away. The worksite was always clean. The tremendous job was completed timely and within budget. Both Tory and Dan came to my husband quickly to discuss any problems they encountered and resolved them efficiently.. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Coolin, ID

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
