Our main drain line was clogged. After 3 different plumbers failed to fix the problem, Rob Evans of Axiom PDX found the clog and fixed in less than an hour. Rob saved us thousands of dollars in bogus repairs that had been proposed by the other plumber. Unless I am forced, I will never use or recommend a plumbing services company other than Axiom PDX. You won't be sorry (and you really might be sorry if you run into one of those big company scammers who almost got us)."

"I called Henco’s after I had another company come out and give me and estimate and to look at our water heater. The first company immediately gave me the doom and gloom “this water heater’s going to blow up at anytime, you need to replace it today”! (They just so happened to have a new one in their truck) I said I’d get back to them and then promptly called the second plumber on my list. The owner was very kind and gave me his opinion without trying to get business. I asked if he could come out and give an estimate on repair/replacement, he had someone here within a couple hours. Owen was very nice and honest, he said our water heater was NOT going to blow up, but it was leaking (we already knew, that’s why we called). He didn’t push any sales on us but we asked for a quote on replacement. His quote was MUCH less than the previous guy and Owen explained the differences in the water heaters available. We placed our order, a few days later they came and installed it. The two guys who came were very nice and professional, did an awesome job and answered all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this company."

"Went very, very well. A different large plumbing company had visited the site the day before (a Friday; we had to wait about two weeks for that appointment) and offered only one option to repair a large (3 inch X 8 inch) hole in our main sewer line: replace all 40 feet of drain pipe in our crawl space, including need to cut into drywall and wood trim in a bathroom. Furthermore, that company could not do the work for 10 or more days, and refused to consider any kind of "band aid patch" to get us through, leaving our house effectively without proper drainage for any running water, despite our communicating that urgency was more important than price. D and F, on the other hand sent a plumber on a Saturday morning within an hour of our contacting them. The D and F plumber indicated that a "band aid patch" (replacing about 5 feet of rusted drain pipe) would probably last us for at least several years, and he could do the work on the spot. By 6 pm that day (Saturday) our plumbing was again fully operational. I must add that D and F is not a budget operation: we paid emergency repair prices. But we avoided the lodging costs and inconvenience of vacating our house for 10 days, which was our priority. In short, D and F met our specific needs promptly. THANK YOU D and F!"

"Nick evaluated the issue and suggested the most cost-effective solution. While Nick was present I mentioned my main sewer line may need replaced. Nick suggested contacting a company that does video inspections of a main sewer line. Following the inspection which identified root intrusion Nick viewed the video and mentioned a client who used an enzyme to clear out his main sewer line. I researched this solution and ended up using Green Gobbler Foaming Root Killer which should result in a $7000 savings on a sewer line replacement. I highly recommend Nick for any plumbing issue. "I had a clogged drain line near the street that a rooter guy couldn't break through. I thought I was looking at having to replace the entire line. At the risk of throwing good money after bad, I called Grumpy's. I got great advice over the phone including a number to call if I decided to have the line dug up. The rate I was quoted was reasonable. Grumpy came out and cleared the line in less than half an hour. In addition, he put a scope down the line, found the exact location where roots were getting through, and marked the spot with paint at no extra charge. He wrote down the coupling and pipe I would need to make the repair. When I dug, the break was right where he indicated. Grumpy was a real pro. He saved me a bunch of time and money."
