"The owner, Steve, came to the house to do an estimate for me to have my patio cover and pergola removed, and a new one installed. He was personable and professional, listened to what I wanted , evaluated and measured the sight, and gave me the estimate. Steve was very, very thorough, answered all my questions, and even answered some I hadn't thought to ask. I gave him a deposit. He said that he would call me with a definite date to do the job after he went back to the office, but he thought it would most likely be in the last week of the month. <br /> I didn't hear from Steve, so I called on Monday, April 21st to get a date for the work. I spoke with Steve, and he said they would be at my house on Thursday, April 24th. On Tuesday, Steve called and asked if they could do the job the next day, which I agreed to. Scott and Mark arrived at 7:45AM on Wednesday, April 23rd. They proceeded to tear down the old structure and build and install the new one. I'm very, very pleased with the work they did. The new pergola is lovely, and really looks wonderful. Most of all, I appreciated how thorough and professional Scott and Mark were. They answered any questions I had, they explained <em>exactly</em> what they were doing, and they were very pleasant to deal with..They did such a great job cleaning up the yard! I had asked them to please be sure and look for nails and debris, as I was worried about my old dog stepping on a nail. Not only did they look for nails, but they looked for and removed every single little scrap of old wood and metal. I haven't found even one piece of debris left in the yard! I couldn't ask for better people to do the work, and I definitely will call SC Construction if I ever need their services again! <br /> Other than not hearing from Steve with a firm date, my entire interaction with SC Construction was perfect. The time probably just flew by because they were busy, and the and quot;problemand quot; was resolved with a simple phone call and a date to do the work. I have no complaints at all. They definitely deserve an and quot;Aand quot; rating. <br />"

"Excellent, Rodney and his son Josh came out very quickly and went right to work. This work occurred in January, 2015 and is still holding up fine. I was actually shocked how quickly it went. All of the rotten wood was replaced and Rodney walked around the house with a claw hammer and tested the rest of the window sills. When I returned they had already changed wood on the west side of the house that was not even in the bid. He said it was starting to fail and might as well change it out now, so I wouldn't have problems in the future. No Extra Charge!"

"I found the site over the web and contacted thecompany. From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me. They supplied detailed instruction to my contractor for installation and were available via phone for consult during the process. I am very pleased."

"I dropped a glass on the countertop, and on the second bounce a pointed edge of the bottom of the glass made a divot in the top of the countertop. I contacted DuPont about repairing the surface myself, and they indicated that the material necessary to perform the repair is not avaialble to the public. The DuPont service representative directed me to the local Surface Link service technician (he services a five state region in the Rocky Mountain area). I did have a little difficulty making first contact. I was unable to dial the service tech directly, and was supposed to go through a sales representative. After two unanswered calls to the sales rep ("Linda"), the service tech contacted me directly. We set an apptmt for a particular time on the following Thursday (6 days following the phone conversation). I had to leave the house that Thursday morning, and returned home about 1hr and 15min before our scheduled apptmt. When I returned home, I discovered a msg on the answering machine that the service rep (Brian) had called to see if he could come earlier, as an earlier time slot had opened up. However, the msg was 2 hrs old, so that when I returned his call he had already picked up another project, and now would be late for our original apptmt time. Brian arrived about 1.5 hours after the original apptmt time, and it took about 2 hours for the repair to be completed. Most of this time was spent waiting for the repair material to harden. I am pleased with the results of the repair, and would use this service again (but hopefully won't have to)."

"This company had installed laminate floor at a friends house and they gave them high marks so when we decided to do floors and trim we gave them a chance.  He came over measured the job and gave us an estimate.  It seemed reasonable for the job so we had him schedule it for us. <br /> They put in the floors and trim fine, but when they mounted the doors they did not recess the hinges into the door, they  just surface mounted the hinges.  The doors work fine, but because of this look a little odd.  They were also a bit messy when they did the touch up painting after everything was installed. This was a little surprising since they are billed as a "painting and home repair" company.  You would think the painting would be the part they do best. <br /> We were trying him out to see if we would use them for other jobs, but after this I don't think we will."
