"He was quick to respond and did the repair that same evening. Fair price, clean, efficient repairs and very professional. He had to remove a 2x3 foot section of moldy plaster covered drywall, reinstall a new piece, and blend swirled sanded plaster into the pattern. We would hire him again
"

"Ricky and Gutter Glove were wonderful. Ricky had coordinated with me over the phone and come by previously to help determine the estimate. When they began the repairs, Ricky was discovered that he would be able to repair rather than replace the gutter. We were already set for the replacement--piece was on the truck--but Ricky was very helpful in finding a better way. We were ready with the checkbook to pay more for what we had agreed on. They could have easily made more money on the deal. I take this as a sign of a conscientious approach with the long term rather than the quick buck in mind. And the work backed that up. Would use the again in a heartbeat. Very pleased.
"

"I found Quality Expectations on Angies List, I was hesitant to call because therre were only two reviews, but were both good. So I called Daryl and he was prompt. He came and looked at the leak, found the source of the potential leak and caulked it. He showed my wife where the source was (it was a bay window roof). He said the damage was minimal to the ceiling and just needed paint. He did not charge us anything for his visit or the fix. He said to call him if I needed him or the leak was not fixed. i would recommend Quality Expectation. Thanks Daryl.
"

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"
I did not accept their quote because I got a few other opinions on the house and apparently I have a broken footing on the back side of my house that has to be reinforced/repaired and the center of the house needs an extra support to support the beams, like placing in more pillions (jacks) to support the beams for the load of the house. I did not use them because they missed some big areas and after watching the engineer come out at and survey the area why I was there, thee seemed more through than the one I got from them. The other engineers measured my whole home to pinpoint the issues. This company was professional just not what I was looking for.

"

"First, the owner, Steve Dash, personally came out to my house, took measurements and listened to my plans for a new bookshelf/storage cabinet on either side of my family room fireplace. He was attentive to all the details and had a definite "can-do" attitude. It was a plus to be able to actually see my plans in 3-D on his computer. I had gotten estimates from two of Steve's competitors, and not only was he the most reasonable, he also seemed genuinely interested in doing whatever it took to meet my every request!
Steve and his assistant arrived promptly on Saturday morning and worked all day to ensure that my custom-made unit was exactly what I wanted. It was very impressive to me that Steve sets up a table outside and actually cuts the pieces to a custom fit right on the jobsite! He did a beautiful job tearing out the existing built-in shelves while maintaining the crown molding that I wanted to keep, and then he went to work preparing the individual pieces of the new unit with expert precision. And this job required a lot of precision since he was replacing an already existing unit that extended from the fireplace to the connecting walls on both sides of the fireplace. I am especially pleased with the fact that the unit provides a new space-saving place for my wide-screen tv (not to mention that all the cords and cables are neatly hidden inside the bottom cabinet!)
The finished product is awesome; it looks great, and it is perfect for my needs -- a display for the tv, books and some decorative pieces and LOTS of underneath storage!
I plan to have Steve come back out and help me in the garage once I convert it into a multi-purpose living space!"

"We have used this contractor several times in the past and his service has recently been declining. This last time we were really disappointed. He quoted a price for the above work and completed about 75% of it. We paid him in full and then he did not come back. When we asked him when he was planning on finishing the work he was unresponsive. When we finally got in touch with him he said he was booked up for the next week and wouldn't be able to finish the work. (He left a room unpainted, caulking incomplete, paint tape and tools out, and didn't power wash a door. We also had paint splatters from some painting that he did complete on a darker colored wall.) As I said before, he was usually very professional so this time we were disappointed.
"

"Julie and her brother did a wonderful job on our house. They arrived on time, worked all day, cleaned up after they finished and are very professional and polite. They had to paint over trim that had been stained and I was afraid the paint would not stick. They sanded and primed the trim before they covered it with 2 coats of paint. I could not have been happier with the final product. They also had to patch a couple of places in the ceiling where we had walls removed. Since the ceilings were stippled, they had to try and match the pattern. When they were finished with the ceilings I was shocked at how good the pattern matched the original ceiling. The drywall work they did turned out beautiful. The wall they had to drywall had a big bow in it, but after Mickey finished, the bow was no longer visable and just vanished. We were so impressed with the first job, we called them back to do more work. They have not yet finished this next job, but so far this job is going as good as the first one. We have had a few scheduling challenges (because of our delays) and Julie has been so understanding and easy to work with. I will submit a new review after they finish this next job but I expect the next review will be pretty much the same as this one. I am so happy I found F and D Renovations!! I just think you can't go wrong by hiring them.
Julie and Mickey came back and preformed more services for us. They painted our entire house, repaired the drywall in several places in the ceiling and on a couple of walls. As I expected, they did a wonderful job. Everything turned out beautiful, they arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. I can only say that Julie and Mickey have our respect and admiration for their work ethics. I would certainly use Julie and Mickey if I ever need any kind of work like this done in the future. They also painted a couple of rooms for my brother and he too was very pleased with the job they did and had only good things to say about their work."
