"We are very satisfied with the work that Mid-Valley Chimney Repair & Sweeps performed on our chimney during the week of July 23-27, 2018. Matt (T) and Billy set up, cleaned chimney and removed old mortar. Matt did an outstanding job with the re tuck point and cement crown . We commend him on his attention to detail. Howard and Seth cleaned chimney and applied sealer. They also removed scaffolding and cleaned surrounding areas. Seth took the time to remove debris from plants in front of chimney. All members of the team were professional and answered all of our questions. They were very personable and it was a pleasure to do business with everyone beginning with Matthew Simpson who did the initial inspection and gave us the estimate. We highly recommend this company and plan to call on them again."

"The brochure say's that the owner or son will be on site to see the job through, that's far from the truth. After the son visit to secure the deal, make promises or elude to promises, don't expect to get a return phone call even to follow up. The job started with leaving roof items in the back driveway in clear vision of the street with my gate left open. I had to secure the loose walk away items in my garage to avoid someone from getting ideas. I was not staying t the house at the time, luckily I stopped by to check. When they arrived they did not even take an inventory to see if anything was missing until I pointed it out. They were messy with tearing of the roof and I had to remind them to clean my entrance and neighbors yard. I brought up the fact to the main contact go between (which is the secretary) after contract is sign that the crew was urinating in my back yard after I told them they could use the bathroom.There was supervision of the crew on the first day but nothing for the next day. I was billed over 1K for rotted wood replacement and I was told they would be pictures for proof but I was never was shown any. After the job was done, then came the review of the work and "where my check". A discrepancy was noted on the flashing but I was told they fixed it but never witness nor knew when they came. I got a phone call to see they did it and the secretary came to get the check. I still see one or two pieces of strip of plastic and green nails from the job on my 3K over budget roof from the Angie's offer. The price is no bargain compare to better professionalism all around from other companies from previous quotes obtained. This is a matter of you get what you pay for and being stuck after a $5,800 down payment."

"I highly recommend Advantage Roofing. The owner, Tim Mallory arrived on time for the initial inspection and quoted a fair price for a new roof, gutters, leaf guards and a minor chimney repair. I had received another quote for the same work from a large local company. Their quote included substantial repairs to my chimney which were not needed. I had it confirmed by independent inspection from a local chimney specialty company that the repair as quoted by Tim was perfectly adequate and proper for my situation. I knew then that I was dealing with an honest and knowledgeable individual. Tim put me on the schedule and began work on time as planned, with a few minor adjustments to start date along the way to account for changes in the weather. They kept me informed as my start date approached. The materials were delivered in full, the day before the job. On the morning the job began, Advantage arrived early with a substantial crew. My house was a hard two day job. Every individual on the crew was polite and took extra measures to fully protect my landscaping and garden. The work was completed on time and in a very professional manner. The house looks great. The cleanup crew went overboard to be sure that that they found every last bit of scrap and every possible nail. While I continue to keep an eye out for the occasional roofing nail, the Advantage Roofing crew did everything they could to find every possible nail and they would not leave the job site until they were certain that I was fully satisfied. After the job, I received my final invoice, which was exactly as quoted. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Butler County for many years, I am very familiar with the need to carefully select contractors. Advantage Roofing was a delight to deal with from start to finish. I am pleased to pass along the great experiences I had in dealing with this company and my personal recommendation to anyone shopping for a new roof or gutters."

"All projects were completed with beautiful results. Their masonry division and pavers division both employ professional, seasoned crews who are assigned to the project with experienced foremen. With all of the projects there was meticulous care taken with the work, and they communicated with me about matters that came up along the way. The company was very easy to work with in negotiating the agreement, reviewing details, and getting responses to various questions along the way. There was a small group of stones, intended for capstones on a wall, that were not of the quality of the other stone, and they replaced those for me. Dan (masonry division & company) and Marty (paver division), division managers and senior managers of the company, offer careful review of their respective divisions' work and of the overall projects, and clearly care about their customers. The onsite foremen (John - masonry) and Rob (Pavers) were very careful with the details and the progress of the projects. They brought a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm to the work every day. In one instance a section of the drive wasn't to Rob's liking, and they pulled up that section and redid everything. They were careful to adjust the angles for drainage on the driveway, and were attentive to details that a lesser company might not pay attention to. They will purchase the quality of pavers/stone requested by the customer, and the Unilock pavers I chose to have installed both look beautiful, and appear to be durable also. They were attentive to protecting my home from construction dust, as I had requested, covering windows and doors in the vicinity, and cleaned up well after their work. I had a landscape design created for the overall plan for renovating the exterior of my home, and they comfortably worked with that design in establishing the dimensions of the various paver projects. I thought that the front area and driveway would look very nice as planned but it looks even better than I had hoped. Neighbors, and even the mail carrier have commented upon the awesome work; it is nice when one's neighbors can also enjoy and appreciate the results of a home project. Early in the planning stages I was deciding upon whether I was going to use HiCon's services for this work or another contractor. What tipped the balance was some advice from another contractor I had working at my home, who has had occasion to see HiCon's work over time because of the work that they do; their comment was that they thought I should contract with HiCon because their work is excellent and really holds up over time. Where this other contractor might see a more amateurishly constructed patio start to show signs of wear after a few years, the HiCon structures they have had occasion to see are often there many years later, still in good shape. I couldn't be more pleased with the work."

Greg was cognizant of how cost sensitive we were and Instead of coming up with a laundry list of things to get fixed , he was more of an advisor and worked with me to come up with the best solution for us and our situation. Greg is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, he explained the ins and outs of the issues I was having, why I was having them, and what I could do to mitigate them moving forward. "In general did a good job.  Showed up on time and got started promptly.  Cleaned up well after themselves.  Fast and efficient.  Only negatives were one small window & storm that was overlooked.  They also had a problem with one of our curtain rods that required some DIY repair on my part.  Not clear whether it was actually a rod failure or if a part was broken due to inexperience on worker's part, but am willing to give them benefit of the doubt since the rest of the job/experience went well.
Price seemed pretty competitive and they squeezed me into their schedule just prior to Thanksgiving holiday..  Would hire again.
