"I highly recommend Paul Tiberi with Line Load Electrical LLC for electrical work of any size. We have used Paul for jobs as small as troubleshooting a malfunctioning three way switch and as large as complete wiring for new construction. Paul is professional and efficient and he completes jobs on time and on budget. Paul provided critical input for the electrical layout of our new construction as well as listened to our preferences. We had Paul do the 220 electrical work for a new sauna installation which necessitated running wiring from the interior breaker box outside and back into the room where the sauna was being installed. He took care to run the conduit inconspicuously and we could not be happier with the result. Paul has always been competitive with pricing and flexible with scheduling. If you're looking for an electrician you can count on, look no further than Paul Tiberi!"

"On all of the replacements or repairs there was a time period of 1 -3 weeks for the repairman. They were all professional . You have to read the contract , I missed the electric part and had to pay for it myself so read your warranty ."

"Bill is a nice guy, very fun to talk to, very upbeat.  I had considered making him my go-to electrician, since I have some future wiring needs to finish out a basement.
However, after he left, I noticed my whole-house humidifer was no longer working like it had been prior to the new furnace installation (ie only coming on when the furnace runs).  To his credit, Bill came back and checked it out and together we determined he needed to install a relay to put everything back in order.  He told me twice he'd "get to it tomorrow" only to drop the ball and not return my calls.  I'm generally pretty forgiving and gave him  the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions, but anyone that I need to continually chase down and pester is probably not an appropriate choice for a regular "go-to" electrician.
I hesitated to write this review, hoping he'd get back to me, but it's been over a month, and I'm still without my humdifier at the time of year when I need it most.  The furnace is working great, but alas, no humidity.
Hopefully Bill, you'll read this and come install my relay to get my system back to what it was.  I'd be willing to remove this review if we can get that accomplished.
Many thanks.

FAQs for electrical wiring or panel upgrade projects in Cowdrey, CO

Yes, a licensed electrician is essential for this project. Running an electrical service from the road to your house involves connecting to utility power lines, complying with national and local electrical codes, and safely handling high-voltage systems.

Licensed professionals understand proper wire sizing, grounding requirements, and voltage drop calculations needed for safe installation. Most jurisdictions require permits and inspections that only certified professionals can obtain. The safety risks and potential for property damage make this project inappropriate for DIY attempts.

Overhead installations are less expensive than underground options. For a 1000-foot run, overhead service costs between $8,000 and $15,000, while underground service ranges from $10,000 to $25,000.

Overhead lines require less labor and fewer materials since they don't need trenching or conduit. However, underground lines offer better protection from weather events and aesthetic benefits. Your decision should balance your budget constraints with long-term reliability and visual preferences.

You might need to upgrade your electrical panel depending on your power requirements. If your existing panel cannot handle the additional load from the extended service, upgrading to a 200-amp service (costing $750 to $2,000) may be necessary.

A licensed electrician can evaluate your current system and determine if an upgrade is required. Factors include what you'll be powering at the end of the line, existing electrical demand, and whether voltage drop over the distance will affect performance.

Running electric service from the road to a house requires electrical permits from your local building department, costing between $500 and $2,000 depending on your location. You may also need excavation permits for trenching work if installing an underground service. Your utility company will have its own application process for connecting to its grid. A licensed electrical contractor can handle all the necessary permit applications as part of their service, ensuring your installation meets all local code requirements.
