I am so happy I found David –owner of Stahl Plumbing and Drain. He was very persistent and determined – he had to use different sizes of snakes and snake it from multiple access points. I was growing concerned that it would turn into a really expensive job. But he showed me that the backup was caused by waste getting hung up at the joints of the shifting terra cotta pipes – and the way my plumbing had been installed was making it challenging to unclog. David was very patient in answering my questions and I watched as he put the camera through the pipes. – and it was all for the price he quoted me before he began. After he unclogged the mess I did decide to have him do the hydro jet pipe cleaning. It was amazing to see on the camera the buildup of hardened grease and soap and gunk and then see the clean pipes after. It wasn’t necessary but it gave me peace of mind that this wouldn’t happen again any time soon. If I’m ever in that desperate situation again (or I need any other plumbing work) I will not hesitate to use Stahl Plumbing and DRAIN and will certainly recommend David to family and friends."
