"Went fine.  They came, did the job, and left.  Nothing unusual happened, which is what you want.  Had checked with a competitor previously, and found that they had a bad reputation online.  The other guys had all kinds of disclaimers and limits on what they'd do and advertise a cheap price that almost no one will qualify for.  Amos' pricing is straight forward and realistic.  The price I was quoted was for a 1500 gallon tank, which is what we have.  There were no upcharges and no disclaimers assuming the tank didn't have hidden damage that had to be repaired.  (And there was no damage.)  Workers were professional, courteous, and informative.  Very satisfied.  There was a discount at the time for Angie's List customers. <br />"

"These folks were my second estimate. And that part of the process is challenging as you really don't know what you'll encounter within walls etc. And the first firm simply blue skied the amount that anything could happen and they would come in lower. Holmes was pretty fair and straight forward at $100 per hour plus material. And the owner and his brother both came to look at the site prior to start (within a day of calling) and both felt it should fall into a two to three hour window. Arrived promptly to start work. They said they did have a truck breakdown and as such didn't have the full compliment of tools and inventory with them. So they did need to leave and get some goods picked up as job progressed. Probably were on site closer to five hours. Put lines under pressure and came back next morning to make sure no leaks, then finished up last clamps etc-probably another half hour. But because of the need to get some parts and other equipment and to leave the job, they backed down to 3 hours. Overall all felt it was fair. Gas lines are in..so ready for tank and gas fireplace. <br />"

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."
