"When deciding on installing a sprinkler system, we were concerned that the cost would be prohibitive. We found D'Agostino on Angie's List, contacted them and they came out right away for an estimate. We thought $1500 was reasonable and set a date for the install. They arrived promptly and immediately went to work. Everything went well and I was impressed until the supervisor left. At that point, the workers became noticeably a little sloppy.  The first thing I noticed was a change in the workers demeanor. They started messing around, joking and speaking loudly, and hanging about. Fortunately, I happened to see that they had torn the landscaping fabric we had put under rubber mulch in the swingset area. I wasn't concerned that it had torn because it was inevitable due to the location. However, I was concerned that they wouldn't fix it before putting the rubber mulch back. Sure enough, I saw them putting the mulch back with the torn seam wide open - therefore defeating the purpose of having the fabric! I told the worker that it needed to be fixed properly and while he was clearly annoyed, he must have called the supervisor because the supervisor came back shortly thereafter with landscaping fabric to cover the torn seam completely. Meanwhile, it had started to rain and the supervisor told me they needed to stop work until the rain passed, which was fair enough. However, what I didn't realize was that when they continued on with the work later in the afternoon, the ground would be a muddy mess when they dug the trenches and that there would be no way for the grass to be patched back on top as it was in other areas completed before the rain. Thus, we had criss-cross trench/muddy lines all over the backyard. At the end of they day, they left without telling me they were leaving! I wasn't sure if the project was completed or if they needed to come back because of the rain, etc. I called the supervisor the next morning and he promptly came back and showed me how to use the programmable features, explained his choices as well as what to do if I needed to change them, he was great. A couple of weeks later I called them to come back and adjust some of the heads that were hitting windows and deck. This time a couple of workers were sent out and they were helpful and quick. One of the heads needed replacing and another needed adjusting, which they did to our satisfaction immediately. I also asked about an adjustment that I hadn't had time to look up in the equipment manual and they did it for me and showed me how to do it myself in the future. All in all, we are pleased with the system and with the company. I was a little disappointed with the installing workers but I would definitely recommend this company regardless."

"I signed up for 1 treatment according to the special(2 applications).  I accidentally hit the enter key 2x and wound up purchasing 2 contracts.  I cancelled 1 of them.  Company didn't realize this although I emailed them with requested dates and they said they would contact me.  They never called.  I called them.a week or so past the stated dates.   Once they understood that I had indeed paid for a contract, they then said my property was too big and the wanted to charge more.  They used Google Earth to estimate property size.  What they didn't know and couldn't tell from Google Earth, was that the lawn area is very small and there are border gardens and planted islands which aren't grass and should not be treated.   <br /> After giving me a treatment date for a week later, they called and said that they had someone just finishing a job nearby and would do my lawn in a few minutes.  This they did! <br /> A few days later, I got a bill or possibly an advertisement in the mail thanking me for my business and requesting that I pay for the services which I had agreed to!  There wasn't any listing of exactly what additional services besides those on Angie's List Special Buy which I had supposedly purchased.  Puzzled, I contacted the company and they said that this mailing was an advertisement as part of a general mailing.   <br /> I am assuming that the weed and feed spray was all natural and non toxic as advertised.  I am supposed to have another lawn treatment as part of the special deal.  As far as I'm concerned, this company is short on organization, has little or no actual office procedures and needs to be monitored.  They did, however, spray the lawn with something.  I wasnot porvided with any name(s) of exactly what they were using. <br />"
