"Jeff from A Better Door and Window arrived on time, explained what he'd be doing and approximately how long it would take. He went to work immediately and didn't stop until the new Liftmaster opener was installed. Despite below zero temperatures, he got the opener installed and did not short cut his explanation at the end of installation. He thoroughly explained how everything works and how we should maintain our opener, door springs and hinges. He provided our instruction book and also explained that the instructions were also on the unit itself. The opener seems to be working perfectly. Really terrific experience. "I contacted Suburban Door Check and Lock Service to repair the broken lock on my patio door. During their initial visit, it was determined that the locking mechanism could not be repaired, and would instead have to be replaced. The part would have to be ordered, and I was told I would be called later that day or the next day with a price and approximate wait-time. I was not contacted, so I called them - and had to do so several times before the work was completed, as they never contacted me on their own. A week or ten days later, they returned to replace the broken mechanism, and the new one works fine. I'm pleased with their repair, somewhat satisfied with their price, but disappointed with their poor communication."

"Andy patched four areas of drywall for us that where either a hole or tape was peeling. This type of a repair is more of an art than science and Andy did a great job. Additionally, we had rotted plywood on some baywindows on the exterior of the house that Andy replaced. Andy does very nice work and is very clean and professional.
