"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"It went great. My contact was Joe who was great to work with from start to finish. The job entailed preparing the existing tape and bed on the garage walls and ceiling to minimize show through, priming the whole garage and then applying two coats of paint. I had decided that I did not want to pay for extensive tape and bed touch-up work to insure no show-thru so preparing the existing tape and bed was very important to me. Joe quoted me a price which was higher than some of the other bids I had but Joe did his best to get the price down as low as possible. They needed to keep their crews working so I think I got the bare minimum price which I greatly appreciated. There were other bidders in the same price range but Joe's knowledge and responsiveness tipped the scale in his favor. A challenging point that I had to work through involved how much show-thru would exist. I was willing to accept a degree of show-thru but arriving at a mutual agreement with the Paint Doctor was a challenge. But Joe came through for me. I showed him some pictures of a garage that had been painted by another bidder that clearly showed the show thru. Joe told my job would look as good or better. That was good enough for me. I signed on with the Paint Doctor to paint the garage and I am so glad that I did. It came out just as expected. Joe advised me in selecting the paint which was also greatly appreciated. The crew that came out to do the work, David and his daughter Anna, was also great to work with. They did their very best to deliver a job satisfactory to me, and they did it. The resulting job looks great. There is show thru but no more than what I expected. When the work was being done, David really laid down the primer (7-gallons) and then two heavy coats of paint. As it turned out considerably more primer was used than estimated so I offered pay for the additional primer which Joe did not intend to mention. But I volunteered since it was the right thing to do. This illustrates how honorable The Paint Doctor is. All things consider, I could not have gotten a better paint job. "I had three companies come out and provide estimates, Wyndhill's was by far the best. We have had them do some spot roof repairs in the past, and they have always been prompt, communicative, fair in pricing and thorough in their work. This last job we were looking for roofing reinstall estimates, as well as GACO coating estimates. Due to the type and condition of our roof, we opted for the GACO coating. We also had some fiberglass roof panels on our patio blow off in a windstorm and they replaced these too, providing us with a 5-year warranty on all of the work. They came when they said they would, did the work they agreed to do, and everything looks and is great so far. We would definitely use again and highly recommend them."

"Door Replacement - more work than originally thought but was due to change in codes requiring fire rated door. Since an interior door was being replaced with an exterior door there was a size difference which required reframing the door jam. They walked me through the process of why and how and proceeded.
Deck repairs - more damage that orginally known as structural members were not exposed. Once exisitng stairs were remove there was considerable rot. Offered alternate solutions for handrail. Discussed material options. Provided game plan for repair. Purchased needed materials. Deck repairs completed and handrail added.
Existing electrical outlet changed out to provide plug for garage door opener that had been installed using an extension cord.
The work was more time intense but they stuck with the job until completed in the same in order to work with my travel schedule.
Great all around knowledge of the construction trades. Methodical and kept a clean job site. Kept me up to speed on each project.

"lOn 8/21/15 we had a water pipe break which caused the water valve to burst. My husband was outside and I was in a back bedroom getting ready for work. By the time we discovered it, most of our basement was in ankle deep water. After getting a plumber and a utility guy to get the plumbing fixed, we called the insurance. At first we were told it wouldn't be covered so we spent 4 days pulling up rug and padding knowing they were ruined. There was one room where the carpet was not very old so we decided to call someone to see if it could be saved. That is when Property Restoration Resolutions and it's owner Shawn Turano came into our lives.What did he do? Everything!!!  It began with his inspection of our property and his discussion with our insurance company explaining and getting them to understand and agree to cover the costs.
As far as to what he and his men did the list is long. They removed all our furniture and belongings from the basement. removed all the old carpeting and padding throughout the basement, brought in industrial size equipment to run for several hours to try to dry out the area, removed all the doors and floorboards, made a 2 ft. tall cut into every wall because the water had seeped into the inside of the walls. tried to remove the tile under the carpet but when it became suspect he ordered testing, testing was positive for asbestos,contracted a company to come in to remove the asbestos, removing the wainscot, removing the wallpaper.
Then the rebuilding began, dry walling, rebuilding the bathroom because 4 of the walls were compromised which included tiling the floor, shower floor and wall, reinstalling the toilet and sink with cabinet, hired 2 incredible painters to repaint the whole downstairs family room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and hallway, replaced floor boards and repaired bottom of wooden door frames, contracted a company to replace all the carpeting and to tile the laundry room and attached storage room, instead of replacing the wainscot a chair bar was installed  in the family room.
They also provided a large dumpster and a large holding bin. As I took pictures of the damaged property they threw it in the dumpster and put the rest in the holding bin. When the work was done the guys returned all of the boxes and furniture and other items to the basement placing them where I asked them to put them.
 Unless you have been through something like this you cannot imagine the stress and frustration we felt at first. My husband and I are over 65 and semi-retired so those first few days were awful! Scary, hard work and overwhelming.Then we called  Property Restoration Solutions and Shawn took over.He was truly a God send. He surveyed the situation and immediately went to work . All of the people that work for him were great! Nate, Marcus and Austin were friendly, courteous and respectful. They wrapped, packed and cared for our household items as if they were their own. They worked in a timely manner always asking and respecting my opinion when needed.There were days when I had to leave them alone in the house because of my work and that was fine. I knew that the company was licensed and bonded, but I knew in my heart that I had nothing to worry about. They all were great guys.
Shawn also hired independent painters Randy and Dan Steckman who did a wonderful job, very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I had them do some extra work that was not part  of the insurance settlement and their prices I thought were very reasonable.
All along the way Shawn helped us from choosing carpeting to tile to paint colors to tile and flooring for the shower. He made everything easier for us. He answered all our questions and explained anything we needed explained. I would absolutely recommend him for any of this kind of work. He and his crew are wonderful people and excellent craftsmen!!"
