"Where do I start! I am so happy I found a trustworthy and reliable contractor in Walnut Creek. Our house was basically a complete rebuild from a 1941 bungalow. We expanded the existing footprint by more than double and also added a detached garage. S&L was the absolute best! We bought the house in February but were not able to complete the drawings/permit process until a whopping 7 months later-- by which time a substantial amount of our resources were used up by paying rent + mortgage+ storage. The contractor we had planned to use could not fit us into his schedule so we were in a bind-- I found Jacob and contacted him immediately. Everyone he has on his team was courteous, responsible, and just very good at what they do. the craftsmanship that went into our house was much better than many of the new construction track homes we have seen. I only wish we found him sooner--since his business also does the architectural drawings-- we probably could have gotten into our house several months earlier. As I was very nervous about making changes to my home, the team at S&L Remodeling and Design made me feel comfortable and excited with the new renovations. The process was quicker than expected and I now have a beautiful kitchen and bathroom space!"

"Zacarias Remodeling Construction is AMAZING! Oscar and his crew recently did a complete kitchen/ family room renovation for us and it was such a wonderful experience. Oscar and his team are incredibly professional and "can do". We were living at our vacation house during the renovation and trusted them to make decisions and keep us in the loop with calls, texts, and photos. They were always so responsive and did beautiful work. We had several unexpected structural issues arise that were due to previous work that another contractor had done at our house, and they found creative and cost effective ways to correct the problems. They are also just such lovely people--so kind and accommodating, always trying to make the client happy. And they kept the job site very clean and tidy. We trusted them completely to keep our home safe while we were living remotely. We cannot recommend them highly enough for any sized job. "It was a design and build project: a 1200 sq ft 2-story addition to an existing house - two bedrooms, three baths, family room with wet bar, and office. Also a new 2-car garage. Matt Kennedy creatively designed the connection so as to access an existing 2nd story bedroom to the new hallway which connected it to one of the two new bathrooms. Robert Cerletti chose and managed very well the various subcontractors who were mostly expert professionals in their specialties - foundation, building structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, stucco and painting, wood/tile/carpeted flooring, and all finishing touches. From experience they knew how to work with city planners to reduce time for permit issuances. They recommended some added special features such as crown moulding, ornate wood stair railings, custom bathroom fixtures, exterior French water drainage, and quality kitchenette cabinets in the family room. From start to finish the project completed on-time within 9 months - delayed only by some unexpected heavy rains at the beginning slowing some foundation work. Six months has now passed since project completion and I could not be more pleased with the new addition. Robert Cerletti was on site frequently, checking on subcontractor work, consulting with me for input, discussing suggestions and ideas, getting progress payments, and paying his subs on time. The project completed on budget except where I specified added work beyond plan. I highly recommend Cerletti and Kennedy for similar projects small or large."

"It was a pleasure to work with Eric, we hired him for a complete backyard renovation which included tree removal, leveling the surface and place pavers and a deck on top. Also built a retaining wall. The work came out very nice in part because of the great design ideas that Eric gave us. The project ran into some unexpected issues that Eric was able to overcome nicely. We were impressed how Eric handled the project and met all the deliverables, also his team was extremely polite an professional. Our backyard now looks like the ones advertised in magazines. All this led us to start a new project with him to replace the cracked driveway with nice new pavers."

"Our roof was in bad shape and we needed to have it replaced. I had gotten estimates and decided to go with Home Pro Remodeling. Emil and Brian were our contact people for the project. Emil was very professional and paid attention to our concerns. He worked with us through the entire project to our complete satisfaction. Brian is extremely courteous and helpful as well! "We received quotes from 3 different contractors. We chose GAXL because it's close to Newark and I like how Jose explains everything in detail. Originally we thought the remodeling would take 4 weeks but it took close 6 weeks. The whole project was great, the craftsmanship was superb. At one point, we found some tiles that are not very nice (from the manufacturer) and we asked them to redo the bathroom wall. They don't complain and understand our request. The workers are great, especially Marvin and this other guy (forgot his name). They WORK very very hard from 8a to 6p everyday. Jose is on time and is very prompt in returning calls or text. In fact he's the only contractor who's very prompt and I like that! On one of the walls they discovered a mold due to rain leaking and they're able to fix it in 4 days which is great. Jose and his son pickup the materials from the suppliers and drop them in our house. Overall, Jose and his men are courteous. I will definitely use GAXL for future remodeling."
