"I posted an initial review on 2/21/19 on a job done on 1/11/19 to fix groundwater from coming into our basement. The drainage system and sump they installed was not collecting all the water that was coming in, as we had leaking from several areas along an uneven rock ledge. I had reached out to our salesperson by phone and email and never heard back, so I was very frustrated. About 3 weeks after I posted the review, I did get a call from Jeff Allen, one of the supervisors. To make a long story short, he sent out one of their waterproofing specialists to look at the problem. We had already hired an independent mason to try to remedy the problem but he had not yet had a chance to do the job. Jeff convinced me that CT Basement systems would do absolutely whatever it took to fix my water problem. I cancelled the independent mason. Danny, a mason from CT Basement Systems came out and used a very ingenious method to divert all the water to the originally installed water guard trough and then to the sump. It is working beautifully!! I think Danny is a genius and I am so impressed and thankful for Jeff's perseverance and kindness in making this happen. I am now a very happy customer."

When the installer came it turned out that I didn’t need all of the duct work and I was able to save a few hundred bucks. The installer was very professional, neat and helpful . I definitely will hire this company again. Customer service even followed up with me a few days later and had to remind me to register the system (good thing because I had forgotten)."

"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

"The owner(John) communicated well, contacted the Building Inspector for us, helped us fill out Permits. His crew were tops at what they did-courteous, neat and clean, became our second family. John and crew manager explained clearly every step of the process and why and how they would be carried out. No shortcuts taken. Excellent products used. Wonderful customer care qualities...each laborer and staff involved. Itâ s been 2 weeks + since the work was completed; weâ ve had downpours and not a drop in the basements. Andrea + Earnest Palmer"

"Budget Dry installed a sump pump about 6 hears ago. They have serviced the pump and batteries once a year. We already had drainage pipes in our basement and an inexpensive sump pump. After one of the hurricanes, they extended the drainage to other parts of the basement including near the furnace. They also installed a commercial sump pump with a battery back up. Since then we have had no problems with water in the basement. They only expanded our existing pipes. Other companies gave us estimates to redo everything at a much higher cost. Other companies also included estimates to redo the entire basement. They are efficient."

"Richard (owner) came to assess the basement water leakage at my home. He was prompt and professional, and gave reasonable options to address the conditions. "Better Built Basements LLC renovated my basement this past summer, installing a full bathroom, bedroom (with egress window), office and finished common area. The project went very smoothly, with great communication and follow-up. Just about everything was done to spec and on the correct timeline. At the beginning of the project we were provided a schedule, and they met almost every milestone; the entire project was completed on time, including pulling the necessary permits and passing all town inspections. We had a few change orders during the project, and they were able to work them in and still complete the project within the original time frame. The communication was phenomenal. For each phase of the project we knew who was coming to the house when, who would be in charge if there was any issue, and who we could escalate to if there were concerns. I would highly recommend them for any project. Months later we are as thrilled with the basement as we were the day it was completed. Thanks so much to the team for our wonderful finished basement."

"These guys were great in terms of scheduling appointments for quoting and installing. The new boiler they installed also looks great and operates well. However, the install job itself got a little messy. I was at work when they called for payment, which I assumed meant the job was done. I arrived home to find my basement a mess. Chunks of concrete where they had made a hole in the foundation were everywhere. They were also a bit sloppy in cleaning up the floor from the old boiler and laying down new flooring - it had dried all over my stairs and wood flooring. When I called to complain they alleged the job wasn't done yet. However, they had already called that day for payment which I thought meant the work was done. They came back the following day, to do what I am not sure, and still failed to clean up the mess. When I called again the owner did come visit, though I had already cleaned everything up so there wasn't much more to be settled. He did apologize. They were all friendly people, I just wish Advanced Plumbing & Heating was more meticulous in how they lay down the concrete and clean up after their good work. Based on other reviews perhaps this was an oddity."
