"We’re currently remodeling two bathrooms under the same contract. The first bathroom is complete, and the second one just started this week. While their bid wasn’t the lowest we received, it felt fair and, in hindsight, definitely worth it. Our build met lots if "hiccups" where required underpinning had not been done to the patio. Matt did not just carry on, everything was strengthened and put right before he allowed his team to continue with the build. Most impressed. Matt built us a large covered patio with cedar posts and beams, cathedral ceiling all in oiled pine, wall with a stable door shipped specifically from England, Austin stone fireplace with cedar beam and large gas fire place, grills, BBQ, sink, refrigeration etc all with granite tops and splashback, granite shelf atop of the pony walls surrounding the BBQ area and finished with a beautiful Travertine floor. The existing roof came off and Matt took the asphalt tiles off back to the house and replaced them all to ensure quality continuity to the aesthetics of the build Do not be put off by the company name, there is nothing "Budget" about them! Highly skilled, high quality work from a very knowledgeable young builder at a very fair price! I am so very glad Matt is young, it means he will be my builder of choice for years to come. "CJ and MJ both came out to the site to talk more about what I wanted after I had received other bids. The other guys wanted to overbuild a simple deck and charge me an arm and a leg, jacking up the price with stuff I didn’t want or need. Ironwood Outdoors listened to my input and gave a much cheaper bid. I never told them the bid from the other guys either. My project ended up being smaller than they normally take but they took it anyway. I appreciated that, and the way they got started right away and finished quickly. MJ was also in constant communication with me, so I was never left wondering when or if someone was going to show up to work. All in all it was a very positive experience and they are a great bunch of guys that get the job done and don’t waste time. I highly recommend them."

"Team did not know what they were doing, always confused. Starz overquoted and underperformed. They used nails instead of screws, causing deep holes, missing nails, loose ends, cheap, splintered wood, and deck was 50 inches tall, requested 52. There were various cuts in the wood, wood splitting, a piece of wood loose where they cut the post hole and didn't secure it to the deck. For the pool, they used regular sand, not compaction sand. The bottom of the pool is bumpy. They put the pool coves behind the uprights holding the frame firm. They had to take the pool apart to take out the coves and put back the uprights. The first time they installed the pool, it was 2 inches higher than the deck. They broke down the pool and removed sand on one side to meet up with the deck. The pool is lopsided and water is 6 inches deeper on one side. I had to pay an additional $300 for them to reinstall. The second time they installed the pool, it still did not flush with the deck. I have to redo it all."
