"After visiting with many companies, we found Albert at Floors Galore by Halfon. He was very knowledgeable and had very affordable pricing for the remodeling we wanted to do. They renovated the entire upper floor of our house. They installed new laminate flooring and painted our walls, doors, and baseboards. They remodeled two bathrooms completely, installing new vanities, granite countertops, and tiled our floors and showers. The crews were FANTASTIC. We will be visiting him again for the rest of our remodel in the future."

"After Hurricane Harvey flooding and the subsequent repairs to our home, our tile floors were in deplorable shape. Todd and Tylar were AWESOME to work with. The were very collaborative. They explained to us every step of the process and kept us in the loop though out. I would hire their team in a minute if we required any more work of this type. While the cost was not insignificant, it was reasonable. That was topped off by their services being preformed in an efficient and timely manner. "Roberto came in right after Harvey on my daughters home that was for sale. She had an AC problem that wet the ceiling and some hardwood flooring. Roberto's guys came in and did a terrific job repairing and painting the ceiling, pulling up warped flooring and replacing it promptly. Everything looked great and we had a buyer two weeks later"

   We started our remodel last year before Thanksgiving. They remodeled the guest bathroom and completed by Thanksgiving. It was done well. After Thanksgiving the Kitchen was completely renovated, the wood laminate flooring put in the living and bedrooms (except master), tile in kitchen and entry and this was completed a couple days before Christmas! They did an awesome job on a good timeline! Last was the master bedroom after the new year. We didn't start this until May due to family illness. They did a good job on the master bath and bedroom, which consisted of getting rid of the bathtub and installing a nice shower, new vanity, flooring and paint.

Pro's: Price very reasonable. Timeline was usually very good, with minimal scheduling problems. Bassam (head guy on our job) made things right when they went wrong!

Con's: You have to constantly remind some of the contractors to keep the doors closed when possible and protect and clean up after themselves. They don't pay attention to detail very much, so you have to constantly check them.

Overall they did a good job and we would use them again in the future.

"I reached out to multiple contractors to evaluate and propose a solution for a complex structural problem related to my garage. Specifically, a main structural beam on my covered patio was not properly secured to the structure of the garage. Poor workmanship by a previous contractor had led to leaks in the roof above the beam resulting in rot of the wood framing underneath which eventually led to the failure of the connection between the beam and the framing members in the garage. The beam dropped several inches and damaged the siding and trim on the garage. I called Kephart Handyman after reading their reviews on Angie's List. Barry promptly replied to my inquiry and came to my home to evaluate the problem. After taking some pictures he came back to me quickly with a proposal. There was some uncertainty on what would actually need to be done depending on what his team found when they removed some of the damaged wood. In the end, Barry's team removed and replaced all of the damaged structural framing, roof decking and shingles and added a new support column for the beam. They wrapped the beam to match others on our patio. The quality of their workmanship was very good and the team cleaned up as they did their work. In the end, the job took five days instead of the quoted three days and involved unplanned removal and repair of drywall inside the garage. Barry stood by his estimate and did not charge extra for the added time it took to make the repairs. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and their ability to find a solution to this complex repair. I would definitely hire Kephart Handyman again and would recommend them to others looking for a professional handyman service. David in Katy"

"They did most of the cutting and polishing in their shop. On installation day, there were three workmen who did a perfect job. Working with natural stone is always expensive and there is very little room for error. I didn't find any errors and I'm a picky person. They finished in one day."
