"Needed to replace culvert and cover with asphalt. First - Jason came on-stie to look at the job. He explained the work needed and the process. J&K does not do asphalt but did arrange to have asphalt laid. Was extremely nice to deal only with Jason and not have to worry about finding someone to do the asphalt work separately. All included in one quote. Second â Received quote for the work promptly. Third â J&K Installed the culvert and new asphalt, completed in a reasonable time. Weather delays. Fourth â Found out there was a second problem which caused the old culvert to fail. Needed the drainage ditch cleaned out because over the years it had filled in with dirt. The water was not running as it should. Jason investigated what it would take to correct the issue and made a recommendation. Give us a quote for the work and start immediately. We are VERY satisfied with all the work they have done. Special note -J&K work crew cleaned up after themselves each day. One more thing I need to say about this job site. Exceedingly difficult because of the drainage issue, but Jason and his team stayed the course, took their time and the water is running off. Their work is very professional. Looks WONDERFULL. Would highly recommend J&K Gound Maintenance."

"I hired Jovel to build stairs, retaining walls and planters connecting my existing patio to a new patio that I also hired Jovel's company to build. The stairs, retaining wall and planters were completed in September. In October, I had a licensed inspector at my home for another project and he pointed out that the stairs Jovel had built did not meet code. The inspector stated that stairs must be of equal rise and the lower and upper stairs were not in acceptable range with the other two. He also stated that three or more stairs required a handrail and that the stairs were POOR construction. Jovel has refused to correct the issue or refund any money paid. "I just worked with Apex Masonry LLC to have a permeable driveway installed. I can't speak highly enough about the job that James and his crew did for this project. James is super knowledgeable and makes sure that clients are informed of what their choices are and what options exist. James was able to provide me with several different options for having our driveway done. Fortunately, James was able to refer me to a community partner in Fredericksburg who had a special program for eco-friendly work. We did run into a small hiccup during the project. The company that makes the pavers for the project had discontinued the two colors that we had discussed. When James found out he personally took me out to the landscaping yard to look at options and make sure that we were happy with the new choices. I really appreciated how customer service orientated James was. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I would highly recommend Apex Masonry to anyone. "

"Everything went very well. The office staff (Karen and Trevor) and measurer (Albert) were very easy to work with and they answered all our questions before we started the job. When Albert did the measurements, he explained what could happen given our situation with the backsplash tile and the installer (Roberto) said the same thing before his crew started the installation. Roberto and his crew did an excellent job and was able to work with the backsplash situation to make everything fit and look great without having to remove any of the backsplash tile. It was nice to have an installation crew who were very experienced and knowledgeable and had all the right tools and supplies to do the countertop installation and the plumbing to install both sinks. If I ever need this type of service in the future, I will definitely give them a call."

"Thought we had found someone who would take care of our lawn, but in the end that was not the case. At the beginning the lawn started to look much better, they rehabbed the lawn and the service was good, shortly thereafter the lack of service started to show in the lawn, unfortunately it just went back to the way it was before. Edging and weed eating was not up to par. We had to constantly call about improper mowing. Calls for estimates were not returned. We finally had to terminate our service with them. I believe that they have taken on too much and therefore their services have fallen short."
