"Al was very prompt on coming out to give me an estimate. He was very detailed and specific on his prices and how long it would take to do the job. He called me back and gave me an exact time frame for the schedule and confirmed it the week before. He and his son showed up on the first day on time and completed all the work within one week. I felt comfortable leaving him and his son  at the house while i was at work.They did a great job on completing everything i needed, plus cleaned up when they were done. "I had an emergency with a broken/frozen water pipe.  Bruce responded quickly and repaired it in no time.  This involved crawling under a house in icy and wet conditions.  I am so glad to have someone  dependable and fair to call on.

"The service call was placed on 12/10; vendor callled same day but was unable to respond until 12/14. He was prompt and declared the faucet was unreparable.. I asked if he could not try to repair but he said he cold not do that because if it din'fix the problem he could not replace the faucet. He stated that the replacement would not be exact but similar. My faucet had separaate lever for turn on/off but he said the replacement would probably be part of the sprout. We did not really appreciate this but he offered no probable favorable solution.. Not happy with response time but realize a close to weekend call caused this. Did not appreciate not even attempting repair."

"Dean was prompt and courteous, he came out the same morning I submitted a quote on here. He called just a few minutes after I clicked send. I had wet carpet upstairs that I couldn't figure out. He found the problem pretty quickly, he had to replace the waste line from my upstairs bathtub. The replacement wasn't a quick process, but it was much quicker and more efficient than I could have done on my own. Well worth the money, I highly recommend D&D plumbing. I'm glad I called and hired him instead of one of the large corporation plumber companies, those big guys would have probably charged me more than double what D&D charged."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
