"I'm the type of homeowner that never has a job go according to plan. Karma, dark cloud, who knows - there are always extras. I always just await the "Well Mr Jackson...." lead in and I cringe. Imagine my shock when Tim arrives at my residence, suryeys the job, checks water pressure & quotes me exactly the price I saw mentioned on this site. I almost had to sit down to sign :-) The old Ruud unit turned out to be a 1991 install so I think I've beaten the 18 yr old unit whos owner reviewed earlier. It's TP valve was beginning to fail and I was getting a steady stream of water out the drain pipe. Tim did a great job and didn't mind my observing the work. I enjoy doing that, not to question the work, but out of curiosity and to observe how pros do their thing. Textbook solder joints btw, downright artwork lol. He was very patient with my occasional questions about various Water heater mfgr's etc etc. I was pleased to see you using Bradford White, one of the makes I have heard plumbing pros often use. I googled this models reviews online and they were excellent. So the install was uneventful, your guy was an excellent ambassador of the things I've seen you write about here, and I've already talked G Force up to a peer at my office who will soon need a similar replacement. He plans to contact you guys when he does that change. So kudos for what I suppose is becoming routine excellence. Please pass along a well done to Tim!"

"My job was scheduled the day after my call. He was very thorough and worked to solve our extremely low water pressure issue. The issue isn't totally corrected. But they offer a good warranty on their work, so I'm pretty confident they will eventually solve the problem.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Richard is excellent! The only problem with Richard is that he is so busy that he still hasn't had time to get on my next project of levelling the floor, installing the heat strips and setting 500 sq ft of 6x36 ceramic tile. He's going to start that next weekend and I'm sure that I will be giving you another review. All joking aside, Richard is very professional. He has very good equipment which says knowledge and success. He priced the job low and still did several extra things that I asked him to do while he was there. He asked for no extra money. Being a business owner myself, I felt that the job was so well done that I increased the total by 30% and still felt that I was underpaying. (Update) First let me say that Richard is an outstanding human being. I would trust him with my wallet. He works very hard to please the Customer. We are doing a complete remodel of our guest house and so far Richard has done the entire bedroom. That includes sheetrock, tile floor, paint and trim. As I stated in the previous review, he did a great job hanging the rock and did it so cheap that I paid him extra. The tile in that bedroom, about 450SqFt., is 6" X 36" on a very unlevel concrete slab. He worked his butt off getting that tile down. It wasn't perfect but I don't think anyone could have done better with that very difficult tile job. So, the sheetrock and tile were very good but then came the painting. The painting was really bad. I think that he got behind his scheduling because of the high difficulty of the tile job and rushed the paint. He chose to spray the walls and there is overspray everywhere. He put down tarps but they mare really for brush and roller work, not sprayers. Paint also shows the flaws in the sheetrock finishing and there were more quite a few. Richard worked diligently trying to fix them. I actually felt sorry for him, paid him and let him get on to his next job. I have another painter coming in to repair the paint job and I am working nights with paint thinner to clean the tile myself. I would still use Richard on some projects now that I know his skill level. I just expected too much from a man that bills himself as a handyman. All that said, if you have any tile job, Richard is as good as any contractor out there. I don't want to cost Richard any work. I own my business and admit that I have high expectations from other self-employed businessmen."
