"They were very responsive and understanding, patient, cordial and professional. I like the way they communicated clearly about what they were doing or going to do. All three guys were just great, hard workers. I have not inspected their work because it's under my house and I can't get under there. HomeAdvisor requires a rating on quality so I gave them a 5 anyway. But I trust that the job was done well, and yes, my bad leak is fixed, the pipe section replaced with the newest (better) product. "Jim showed up at my house the next business day after our phone conversation and provided a free estimate (some plumbing contractors charge to estimate a job.) My water heater was working fine, but it was about 20 years old so I wanted to replace it so as not to have to do it in a rush situation. I also wanted a shut-off valve installed on the main water line in my cellar, and a have valve added so I can drain my water lines. Jim offered some good suggestions for how to install the valves, and gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable. The following week, David showed up to do the plumbing. The work was done quickly and professionally, and I am very satisfied with the job. "The plumber arrived on time. Assessed the problems , made a bid and then went ahead and fixed the problems that same day. He made the bid , went out to buy the parts and returned to complete the installation . However I ended up paying over $425/ hour!!!! I thought it would be more difficult to fix the [problem but it only took the actual work about 5 hours total. I want to stress that my job was completed adequately. However, now I feel " taken" for the job provided."
