"We had a dryer issue and my husband wanted to fix it himself. It was frustrating him because he had bought all new parts and installed them, and the dryer STILL would not work! I sent my husband a message via Facebook with the information to contact Hometown Appliance Repair. Brian gave him helpful information because he was on a service call. He told my husband that if those suggestions didn't fix it that he would come out. The dryer now WORKS!! My husband also called him to come and work on our dishwasher, about a week later (when it rains it pours). He was so knowledgeable and patient with my husband (LOL). Both times that my husband contacted him, all Brian wanted was a Gxxxxxe Review, since he did not make a service call to us. We highly recommend him. If he is not able to come right away, he will fit you in or give you some suggestions, if you insist on repairing the appliance yourself (like my husband, LOL). We give him a 5-star review! "Great experience. Harmond W diagnosed the issue within the first 10 minutes of our interactive video session. He immediately followed up with the part number of the part which had likely failed and a link to Sears PartsDirect to order the part. After our session I removed the wall oven from the kitchen cabinet enclosure, found the suspected part, and confirmed it had indeed failed (as we had discussed during our session. I just ordered the part, and will plan to complete the oven repair when it arrives in a week or so. I'll definitely plan to use this Neli service again when needed."

"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
