"I called Mike to explain that we had a leak that was constantly running in the upstairs bathroom tub. When I made the appointment, he asked me to text him a picture of the area from about "18 in. away and at about a 45 degree angle". He also asked me to send him the brand name of the fixtures. I thought it was a good idea for him to prepare ahead, know what he was dealing with and possibly order the necessary parts before the actual appointment.  <br />      Mike was punctual and professional on the day of the repair.  He said he was very familiar with this type of home, as Levitt and Sons had built many developments with similar homes, all over the Bowie and Crofton area about fifty years ago.   He gave me an estimate for $475.00.  He also let me know, in advance , that while he had done this type of work "hundreds of times"  , in only two instances the work had led to more extensive repairs because of the age of the plumbing.  He described what could happen and if it did then the cost could double.  I thought that was fair and professional to tell me in advance of performing the work.  Mike completed the work (without complications) in about an hour and a half and  he did not have to break any of the tile or drywall to complete the repair.
